Last season, during the Falcons' improbable rise to wild-card playoff status, the team suffered just a few major injuries. This season, the injured list is littered with high draft picks and veteran cornerback Brian Williams. Starting left tackle Sam Baker, starting defensive tackle Thomas Johnson and dependable backup running back Jerious Norwood have all missed games. First-round draft pick Peria Jerry and second-round pick William Moore are on injured reserve. Now, the Falcons may be facing time without their top running back, Michael Turner, who left the game against Carolina with a high right ankle sprain. Jerry suffered torn ligaments, and it was reported at the time that he had a bone-related injury. Though his ACL was not damaged, the Falcons declined to specify which ligaments were involved or how long Jerry would be rehabbing. He still has almost eight months before training camp. rotoworld I definitely agree. I wouldn't be too upset if Owens starts next season. Grimes could develop into a starter. He reminds me of Asante Samuel. He is a very good ballhawk, plays the run somewhat well and gets burnt.
rotoworld Valdez may offer us a little something. He has a mean streak and size which is what he seem to like.
