Jumping the Glass
Like right now. This is probably the most boring offseason ever. That is all. :D
- James Mirtle Good price. (Cough Fleischmann+ for Regehr Cough)
http://www.mynhltraderumors.com/2010/08/06/antti-niemi-paul-kariya-willie-mitchell-nhl-rumors/ As a 3rd line center I'd welcome him.
Team Yes this is the most interesting Caps news at this time. Stingrays are only one year removed from taking the Kelly Cup championship in 2008-2009.
Don't think SDR will become anything but a 3rd line defensive guy or a 4th line pest, which King is. Per the team:
http://capitals.nhl.com/club/news.htm?id=535038 For 1 year at $2.6 million.
I don't know how I feel about this...
-Capitals Team Release Another fantastic offseason signing by the Capitals....
With Sather so far not being able to sign Staal, I wonder if he would consider a trade for his rights. Unless, the only reason he isn't signing is because he wants more money like the big name FA d-men, then we'd have to pass. Staal would be a nice piece on our blue-line and would fit nicely with The American Hero John Carlson. Tomas Fleischmann and Michael Nylander for Marc Staal's rights? You know you want to do it Glen.
Cap hit $2.75. Leaves Flash as the only RFA left to re-sign.
