so i lost my security guard at the lair last year when he wouldn't cop to ripping me off. oh well. so anyway i just started doing it the last five months, saving a little money and what exactly do i do anyway? it actually can be fun meeting the people and i kind of get into it, using my flashlight and opening doors for people.
so tonight i'm doing my thing for this bat mitzvah and i open the door for this truck and its slash driving. i'm like hey slash how you doing and we start talking about how this is where his drummer in gnr grew up and he was one of the local street urchins. slash is like yeah man heathens and says he was just talking to his girl about chatsworth and where are those rocks we used to get high on anyway? pointed him in the direction and said to tell stevie he should come see his boys. adler hasn't seemed to be doing too well w the stroke and all and he says he's actually doing better. good to hear and slash himself looked to be in great shape and totally lucid with absolutely no airs about him. really nice when you meet people that are that famous and still have a down to earth attitude.

I bet Espn goes nuts on this Michael Sam thing. An outside the lines special tomorrow and all day coverage dedicated to a 7th round pick.

It's already started, they have spent 5 minutes on him already within the first 10 minutes of the show...

The most liberal news organization in the country strikes again.

Transforming public opinion with the guise of sport.

So dumb. I hate how they focus on stuff that doesn't matter. The dude is a scrub. That's why he got picked so late in the draft. Just because he's gay doesn't mean he has to get all this publicity.

They pushing the liberal agenda, gay rights are hot right now.

It's pretty simple if you think about it.

How many NCAA brackets did they have President Bush fill out in a one hour special?

The difference being that President Bush didn't know what the fuck a NCAA bracket was.

    Mission accomplished!

Judging by obummers success rate at the bracket and every policy decision thus far he doesn't know what the fuck is going on either.

so watching the okc game yesterday i hear tragic johnson say no sterling can own the cleepers and the fans will boycott.
really? who died and made you god magic? and please don't speak for "the fans" ok.
this shit has got to stop. how dare he make a statement like that.
i used to love magic and i mean LOVE him but now i can barely stand to look at him.
i get closer to not giving a shit about sports every day.

Don't know Slash personally, but I do know for a fact he owns one of my sculptures.
How good was Peter Dinklage last night in the last scene of GoT? Awesome acting man...great writing there, and delivered perfectly.
"What I am on trial for, is being a dwarf"...
Demands trial by combat...this should be good next week.

Any of you guys have PS4? I'm probably getting one soon and I'd love to beat some people in The Show.

Yeah, brilliant - no doubt his speech was tapping into personal issues. wow. I'm once again getting lost in some of these other scenarios. I'm going to have to read the damn books to figure it all out. I've already got the full set downloaded into my Nook, so there's no excuse. I'm only now finishing off the last of the Harry Potter series - which I've just gotten around to, ten years later. Oh, well - one page at a time.

btw, If anyone is into reading I can highly recommend the Patrick O'Brian sea novels - a series about the Royal Navy during the Napoleonic Wars. The film Master And Commander doesn't come anywhere close to the actual books. Not even a little bit. The kind of thing you just can't stop reading. Boom - you've suddenly read 10 books in a row and you're obsessed with finding the rest. The characters are wonderful. Lots of action - cannon balls slamming through the decks, etc - and hilarity, like 18th century medicine and dining on exotic animals. Great stuff.

Sam isn't a scrub, he was the SEC Defensive Player of the Year. And while I agree that an openly-gay player being drafted should be a non-story and unimportant, the truth is it is important.
