Utley is one of those guys that the Dodgers have kinda needed. Remember when Kirk Gibson came on board a ragtag team. Someone played a joke on him and he got royally pissed. It set the tone for an improbable '88 win. Utley's time in Philly toughened him up and I hope that bleeds into the Dodger psyche. Pence has done wonders for the Gnats. I can only hope some of the from Utley rubs off on this team full of bubble machine players.
With you on that one, dog. I just hated the guy forever; couldn't stand him going back to a Russell Martin thing, when he was a favorite. Now, the guy's hardnose attitude is a breath of fresh air. Amazing how things can turn on a dime.
The Dodgers can't go too crazy with day lineups right now, we have a small bench. Trayce, Culberson, Kike, and AJ and that's it.
AJ should start today, regatdless of CK. Day after night game...it's a long season, and YG is a big stud and all, but made of papier mache. This is how we do it...
