We will win the World Series this year.
Yasiel Puig will be the hero of course. ;)
And this will happen in the offseason...

We lose one of our FO Alex Anthopolous to the Twins who becomes their new president of baseball operations.
We trade for Brian Dozier and Earvin Santana of the Twins in a deal centered around Alex Verdugo, Brock Stewart, Kyle Farmer, Micah Johnson, and Rob Segedin.

We replace him by signing Ian Desmond who can be a serviceable emergency SS and can hit lefties.
Desmond essentially replaces Kike/Culberson on the roster as well.
We resign Justin Turner, Rich Hill, Chase Utley and Kenley Jansen.
Josh Reddick signs with the Giants after hating being heckled by the fans in RF.

Starters: Kershaw, Hill, Maeda, Santana, Urias

    Regulars
    2B: Dozier
    SS: Seager
    3B: Turner
    1B: Gonzales
    RF: Puig
    C : Grandal
    LF: Toles
    CF: Pederson

Bench: Desmond OF/SS, Kendrick LF/3B, Utley 2B/1B, Barnes C, Thompson OF
Relievers: Jansen, Wood, DeLeon, Stripling, Liberatore, Dayton, Baez, Avilan

With plenty of -soon to be out of a job- SP on the roster expensive veteran long relievers like Blanton and Howell can be replaced since they are FA.
Kazmir will probably become a FA if not he can try and be a long reliever too (good luck)
Veterans like Ethier, Ryu, and McCarthy can be waiting in the minors in case someone gets injured or falters. This year the injury prone players will be the depth not the other way around.

What I really want to know... Rube, is this something you smoke? Take as a pill? And what kind of drug is it? I might want some.

oh, thanks. nevermind. I'll stick with 92. Would like 95 but as long as we're in the playoffs the exact # is irrelevant.

I was drinking tea when i wrote this.
4 limes a thumb of ginger a pinky of turmeric 2 leaves of lemon verbena steeped for 30 minutes.
And right before that had scalp massaged with pepermint wintergreen and frankincense oils.
And had a dinner of 3 quinoa millet mushroom fish pate sushiritos with a walnut based pesto.

But i would have preferred a fosters ale a double double and a blunt.

No need to get a lather up there Rube

Ain't nobody raining on any field of dreams

I'm about now. The Dodgers could/should win it THIS YEAR was all I'm saying.

Next year, and the off season brainstorming over what could of been, will have plenty of time for venting.. once we're wearing rings.

(just sharing some positive juju there buddy)

Fosters is a good choice though they do not compare to the Foster's from Australia we used to see 20+ years ago.
Still good but they used to be better

And by all means protect your liver, you only get one
don't let drunkards, including myself, bias your thoughts
Gone are the days of killing 24+ cervezas on a warm afternoon (unless Fordie is in the room)
    days of our youth etc...
