Karl Joseph's toe magically healed for the playoffs, now back in the lineup.
    Interesting.
Would've been nice if Derek Carr's finger had received some level of precautionary consideration..like Joseph's toe.
    He's just the QB tho..not a safety.
Oh well..Connor Cook FTW it is.

    Smh God bless Connor Cook
Dude's made his share of mistakes, to be expected, but his WRs also didn't make nearly enough plays for him today

Great game. That Watson is one tough m'fer. Took some hellacious shots (not all legal) early, then took over the game late.

Uh oh, thought it was a BS report, but I guess shots have been fired for real.
RAIDERS have indeed reached out to Wade Phillips for their D-coordinator gig.

    I love it.
He was a punk himself, can still be a punk at times as an old fella, but he's gonna be pretty good on TV with some polishing.

Todd Downing is set to take over as the Raiders offensive coordinator, with the team choosing to not renew Bill Musgrave’s contract and instead going with the 36-year-old quarterbacks coach. Here are 10 things to know about Downing.

    1. Downing was born in Eden Prairie, Minn., a suburb of Minneapolis.
    2. He played high school ball at Eden Prairie High for Mike Grant, the son of Bud Grant, the Hall of Fame head coach for the Minnesota Vikings
    3. Using that Grant connection, Downing became a public relations intern for the Vikings at age 19 to get his foot in the door in the NFL. He attended the University of Minnesota at the same time and also spent summers playing semi-pro ball for the Minnesota Maulers.
    4. Downing earned himself a coaching internship a year later and signed his first coaching contract at age 21. He was with the Vikings until 2005 under Mike Tice, before spending the next three seasons with the St. Louis Rams.
    5. He was hired as an offensive quality control coach by the Detroit Lions the same season they drafted Matthew Stafford No. 1 overall in 2009.
    6. Downing was elevated to quarterbacks coach in 2011 and held that role with the Lions until 2013. Overall, he spent five season in Detroit working under Jim Schwartz.
    7. He moved on to the Buffalo Bills in 2014 under Doug Marrone. They went 9-7 with EJ Manuel starting the first four games before Kyle Orton started the next 12 games and threw for 3,018 yards, 18 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
    8. Downing came to Oakland in 2015 under Jack Del Rio, reuniting him with Tice, whom Del Rio hired as his offensive line coach.
    9. He was named Pro Football Focus’ quarterbacks coach of the year for his work during his first season with the Raiders.
    10. Only three current offensive coordinators — Washington’s Sean McVay, Chicago’s Dowell Loggains and Detroit’s Jim Bob Cooter — are younger than Downing.

In red..that's a real person. Lol
