and everyone is apparently uptight because kevin pillar allegedly yelled a homophobic slur at jason motte
people really need to chill the fuck out
would they not be as upset if he called he a cunt? how about if he said he fucked his mom?
people don't give a fuck that gays might be offended, they're just waiting for the next "cause" to jump on
fuck off already... fags, oops, i mean idiots

I'd like to see baseball adopt the NHL or NBA models re. bench clearing. You leave the bench, you're suspended. Most of these dustups are exacerbated by players leaving bench, especially the idiots in the bullpen.

Players in the field leaving their positions to join the fray could also face suspensions.

What egregious sin occurred in yesterday's game in SF that would cause the benches to empty? A few words between players? Give me a fucking break. Much ado about nothing.

There are many things that get thrown into the PC conversation, some of which I agree with and some I disagree with, but I think it's safe to say I lean pro-PC more than most. That said, this is a case of something being blown way out of proportion. This might just be my perception, but I feel like 10-15 years ago the term "faggot" was dangerously close to losing connotation with homosexually. I'm glad to see people step in every time it is used to remind us that it's a "homophobic slur" /s, even though (unless Jason Motte is openly gay and Kevin Pillar knows this) it was clearly not used as a homophobic slur in this context. So I agree, people do need to chill the fuck out. Interestingly, after the game Pillar released a statement apologizing, so Pillar clearly understands the gravity of what can happen to him... although it's probably too late... no matter what he does in baseball from here on out, his legacy is he will be known as the "guy who called another player a faggot".

    *2*
Calling Motte a faggot was fully appropriate, seeing as Pillar had just been fucked in the ass with that pitch.

I'm glad we have Atlanta, GA as our beacon of tolerance in this country.

    *4*
    He said "fkaggot" not "faggot".

With all due respect, that's the worst idea I've ever read..shit breaks out on the field, and it is just jatural to run out there and get into the fray with your teamates. Then you sit on the bench like a finook?
What are they gonna do? Suspend 25 guys and coaches too?
It's like Sharon Stone flashing her pussy and asking " whatta ya gonna do, arrest me for smoking"?

I hate to say it, and I hope it all collapses like the walls of Jericho around them, but fucking Colorado looks to be for real...they are pretty damn deep, a concept all LAD fans grasp so well.

Works for the NHL and NBA. It's no less natural for those guys to join the fray.

The difference is that in Hockey at least is that they will fight while in the MLB and the NBA it's just slow dancing in middle school.

It's a bit different when both teams have 5/6 players matched up. We're talking about something entirely different when one team will have 9 guys on the field and the other team has 4(Batter, On-Deck, 2 coaches) and at most 7. So say a guy in the field starts something with a player, you could have that dude begin wailing on a the baserunner and the only thing the other team can do is hope for the other 8 guys on the field break it up, otherwise your players get suspended for protecting their own guy. That's why that would not work.

One of the greatest movie scenes ever. Could have done without a sweating Newman when I get a glimpse of a young Sharon Stones pussy though..

So both AGon and Forsythe could be back tonight. If that is the case, likely say goodbye to SVS and maybe a pen arm(ROMO!?!?!?!?!?). I wonder if the FO called up the Braves to see if they could get something in return for SVS instead of sending him back to OKC. They are going to be without Freddie Freeman for a while and could be looking for someone. Getting AGon back healthy is the best thing that could happen for this team right now... I just hope he is healthy.

Shame about Freddie, he was on his way to an MVP caliber season but SVS and his value is next to nothing but getting rid of him for nothing sounds good to me. Having to choose between Romo and Hatcher (my idea) is like choosing between getting shot or getting stabbed.

Well, it's a known fact all NHL players are died in the wool finooks, tried and true
In fact I know a dentist that pulls healthy front teeth from NHL guys as to make them look tough.
The NBA is all femmes that pretend they are gang bangers and spend all their money on ink and their boyfriends and exotic cars.
BB players are real hardened warriors...do you think guys like Kike come from nothing? That's killer shit man...

I'd much rather get rid of Romo over Hatcher. Hatcher is far from great, but it is not like he has been nearly as bad as Romo. His overall peripherals are pretty good and he's good for mop up duties.

AGon is back, SVS to OKC. Nothing on Forsythe, but I could see the club waiting until at least tomorrow with a LHP on the hill.

Romo has had success in the PAST while Hatcher doesn't and Hatcher can be optioned. IMO I think Romo can be helped lol. They both do have impressive K rates.

So what happens when Logan is activated is going to be the interesting news.

We should send them Ethier to help round out that trio.
