Don't trust Maeda-san on the road. Not as bad as a pitcher at DS.

Such a drop off after Kershaw. I'm still not convinced about our SP going into the playoffs.

What I said has little to do with your post. Your post just made it convenient. Anyways to your point, maeda isn't going to start in the playoffs most likely and I'm not really sure why you are uncomfortable about our SP at this point

    agreed
    wood has been incredible
hill appears to be getting better and better each outing
    and kersh is kersh
mehcarthy is probably the de facto #4 at this point
if the playoffs started today, maeda/ryu might not even make the lds roster

Except for in the post season.
Personally, this rotation, Kershaw included, is gonna have to win me over in the post season.
And there's nothing wrong with that.
Who gets crowned before they earn it?
    Earn it.

Please, didn't mean to raise a sh*t storm.

Last year we had Kershaw and Hill and even Urias, and it wasn't enough against the Cubs. And barely enough against the Nats but for a heroic effort from Jansen and Kershaw in relief.

I hope we are not in the same situation. Yes, Kershaw is god, Wood is having a career season, and Hill is.....well.....Hill. But is this better than Kershaw, Greinke, and Ryu when he was still effective?

All I'm saying is that is getting another big SP such a bad thing for this team? I think if there was ever a time, this is the year to go all out for the WS.

That's true and great points but, I've always felt that starting pitching has always ended up fine. This year the big difference between previous years is the offense. We have 3 superstar level hitters, and the Taylor, Puig, Joc, Grandal and Forsythe are all average at worst and actually damn good hitters.

Enrique, Taylor, Forsythe, and Barnes create powerful platoons against lefties and Seager/Turner aren't fucking up against them this year.

Once we get new relievers, I truly think there's little to no holes on the team

Haha....I know. Combination of Dodger anxiety and a job that can often suck.

    Turner getting it done
    [IMG]
3B Justin Turner is arguably the Dodgers' most productive player and should qualify for the batting title after the next game. Turner's batting average is 24 points higher than the current leader (José Altuve, .350) and his on-base percentage is 35 points higher than current leaders (Bryce Harper and Aaron Judge, .434).

Does Turner still not have enough at bats to qualify for the batting title?

Rockies held on tonight against the Padres, but their pen is falling apart. McGee was the other big guy helping close out games alongside Holland and he has begun to scuffle a good bit. I could see the Rockies falling all the way out of the WC to the Cubs. Which if the Cubs are making the PO's, I really would prefer them taking the Central and the Brewers getting the WC. Having the Nats and Cubs facing off in the first round would be much better than having to go through both.

He's precisely 1.3 plate appearances shy. Add that to the 3.1 per game, so he needs 5 tomorrow to get there.

Comforting to know that Maeda owns Alen Hanson.
