if he makes them miss what can be said?
he also had some stuff that was unhittable
apparently those balls right down the middle were as well
i'd take him over those two mediocre guys we acquired
pads probably asked for verdugo and buehler

Kenley pipes it right down Broadway all the time and gets batters to whiff. He has great stuff.

Probably, I think they may roll with more hitters than pitchers and rest certain pitchers for series.
Cingrani might not get on the roster for the first round if we play a team without a lot of dominant left handed hitters. Or vice versa.
The offense seems to be getting settled, the experiments seem to be that Joc will be split with Taylor in CF.
And the plan is for Adrian and Ethier to prove they can play and hit well enough vs righties to really make both of our lineups long and hard to beat.
The main lineup will probably be like this...

    2B: Taylor
    SS: Seager
    3B: Turner
    LF: Belly
    1B: Adrian
    C: Grandal
    CF: Joc
    RF: Puig

Vs Lefties things would start to change.

    2B: Forsythe
    SS: Seager
    3B: Turner
    1B: Belly
    CF: Taylor
    LF: Barnes
    RF: Kike
    C : Farmer

The bench of Forsythe, Barnes, Kike, Farmer, and Utley may be joined by Andre Ethier at some point.
Ethier if healthy can be a .300 hitter vs righties and have mediocre power. Basically an old slow white Andre Toles pinch hitting off the bench.

a lot of options to be sure
    the bullpen concerns me though
guys like fields, stripling, dayton and baez (lately) don't inspire a lot of confidence

Hope they're looking to add another arm at the end of the month.

Like to think they could have done better at the deadline than the two LHs they got.

its like striplings is a disease we caught in the bp
fields is definitely gonna grip and leave a fb over the plate and its gonna hurt
dayton i don't think is a factor w cingrani and watson added
even avilan might be an after thought
what i don't get is why there isn't more talk of maeda and ryu out of the pen
those guys are throwing great and i just don't get how you can leave them off for a stripling or a dayton
you see the looks on their faces and kenta and hin jun are bearing down
or maybe they're just asian idk (racist but necessary)
but guys like baez and strip are feeling the heat and its not even hot yet
i want the toughest guys getting the ball, not the guy who performed in a role during the season
i'd also like to see paredes get the ball some more before its over
guys like that contribute on WS champions and no one knows where they came from
right now i get that our secondary starters are eating the innings but in the last month i think they should relieve
definitely scared about how this shakes out but i have to take a deep breath and trust in the nerds

Even though they're throwing well, Maeda and Ryu are throwing well as starters.

How they would do out of the pen is anyone's guess.

I actually saw it for the 1st time. Didn't remember you were happa and I'm all for self effacing humor I do it all of the time. Was your mother or father in this case from Japan or from here because that image came from WWII days when hatred for the Japanese was at it's heights. Who knows what triggers thoughts on a board maybe in the moment I thought of my mother who lived through the bombings and TRIED to post a inane comment that blew up into this stuff. Like I wrote it was just FYI. Post on brother.
