Inglewood Stadium is coming along. http://www.therams.com/stadiumcam.html Big time bummer that it won't open until 2020. Nobody wants to go to the Coliseum. It was deemed an unacceptable venue by the Rams in the late 70s and by the Raiders in the 90s. The Rams are only selling 65 thousand tickets per game this year and getting 60k at the gate tops... in a 90-100 seat venue. Looks pretty bad on TV and I hope that doesn't make NBC/NFL hesitant to give us the Sunday night game. They need to get to Inglewood asap.
Why 2020? Won’t the Raiders stadium in LV open sooner than the Rams then? That makes no sense considering how much more difficult it was for the Raiders to finally get that deal done.
The rainfall earlier in the year delayed the project. Since it's near LAX, the FAA requires the stadium to max out at a certain height. The Rams had to dig a giant hole to build the stadium in and it was flooded.
Big games coming up. Saints, Eagles, Vikings, Cowboys, Seahawks. The Rams better be able to show up. The Eagles game will be huge.
Small correction the Rams already met and beat the Cowpokes. The games against the Saints and Eagles are at home.
We can sell them at Ramcharge.com And sell raider ones at Skullraider.com Laker ones too at Lakermagic.com And for dodgers at Artfuldodger.com Boom!
lol on the same page regarding the Rams. Definitely should be a good game though, both teams playing really well on both sides of the ball.
My dad was at the mud Bowl playoff game between the Vikings and Rams at the coliseum in 1977. This used to be a pretty good rivalry from what I've read and heard. It's cool to see LA-Minnesota restored. Great match up. Big test for the Rams.
