I like it. Soria was good last year and is a solid middle reliever and Alexander was good too and has a lot of control and options.

Minor leaguer Jake Peter, acquired by Dodgers today, played 2B/3B/LF/RF/DH last year. Also plays SS

For #Dodgers, Jake Peter could replace Charlie Culberson on depth chart as an infield-first super utility player. Peter, as with Culberson, is described as having very good makeup. @MLB @MLBNetwork

While there's much more to be said about this deal, Scott Alexander is a vastly underappreciated RP and asset. 3.44 present talent level, 56th-best among RP. Immediately projects as their second-best RP, beneath Jansen and above Cingrani.

First of all, WTF is this? The nerds are supposed to be done making moves.
And what was up with Game of Thrones only having 7 episodes last season?
Bitch nerds could've given us another couple episodes or at least a 2 hour special to open and close the season. This FO is a joke

Scott Alexander induced 13 ground ball double plays in 2017 in 69 innings.
Only Dodgers pitcher to induce more was starter Clayton Kershaw, with 15 in 175 innings

Scott Alexander is pretty good, I watched a lot of KC games last year, so yeah he immediately becomes our second best reliever. If we get a nice RH reliever too, our pen is set

I like this deal, the big difference between Alexander and Avilan is RHH OPS against Alexander was 200 points lower. That said, they are putting quite a bit of faith in Cingrani being fixed as the #2 LH reliever if Liberatore doesn't make it back.

    Cingrani has stuff
The way they've been able to develop guys into respectable relievers, I won't be one of those doubting Tony C

    Hosmer, AKA baby Ethier..
    7yrs/140M offer from the Pads
    7yrs/147M offer from the Royals
For a dude who's below average against LHP and pretty much better off not even playing on those days
    Insane.

Agree with the Alexander comments. I think this move to me means that we are set for the pen barring a Colome trade. I know they are complete wildcards but Koehler showed a penchant for relieving and Yimi Garcia is back plus we could be in a situation where we can pitch Maeda in the pen, not to mention Buehler. NOT confidence bolstering for fans but I can see the FO thinking along the same lines.

Ideally Maeda is starting (and his contract practically dictates it), and Buehlers Days off in the pen are behind him unless he flames out as a starter

I'm guessing the "situation" he is referring is October in regards to both Maeda and Buehler.
