There is no dream scenario with Cousins on the Lakers.

    It's called a nightmare.

I don't get the boogie hate. His teammates always seem to love him.

He fueded with George Karl, but he's not the only one...I'd put that more on Karl. That whole Sacramento situation was a mess top to bottom. Yes Boogie should have been more professional there, but you can sort of give him a pass for the immature behavior in the shitty situation.

I honestly haven't paid much attention to New Orleans this year. Has he been a problem there too?

    50.
And Lou is averaging about 30 since that injury to Blake.

Said this months ago and not just here. No change. It's futile. People have their opinions of him and that's that. It really doesn't matter, though, I mean I don't think Magic is going to say " I don't like this guy, so let's move on and talk to Noel instead. " I think Magic is going to say what you said and look to embrace and mentor the young man..Magic did the same with Artest when everybody was turned off by his antics. Artest said the 1st person to call him when FA began, was Magic. Cousins' charity efforts blow 99.9% of the rest of the league's charity efforts out of the water and they still worship him in Sacramento. He's truly not a bad guy and one of the most popular players among his peers. And Popovich will probably be our biggest rival in the free agency process in trying to get him because he loves Cousins.

The way I see it, I've always loved for my bigs to have a pulse..to be prickly and on edge. I like that he always gets into it with Zach Randolph and Draymond, that he chased Durant down in the hallway after they got into it. It just so happens that Cousins goes there more often in front of the cameras than others. Some would rather not see it. Some would rather all the fuckery to be going on behind the scenes, as with Shaq..for Kareem to give them icy glares in the airport and to tell you personally to " fuck off ", as he did quite a bit to fans in his day. Cousins does need to tone it down a bit and keep the technical fouls to a minimum, though, I will say that. He can't be costing his team points, that's really my only issue with him. But he needs guidance for once in his career. They keep talking about Embiid and Towns, but Cousins is still the best big man in the NBA right now..shit, arguably the best passer in the NBA too. His skillset is through the thermosphere. I think Magic is taking that gamble, 25/8/366.

I really like Lou Wills game, preferred him to Clarkson as the backup to PG/SG.
Truly Instant offense that can be a great change of pace from Lonzo and whoever is at SG be it KCP, Ingram, or hopefully George.

The dream without LeBron should be something like...

    PG: Lonzo, Lou, Hart
    SG: George, Lou, Hart
    SG: Ingram, Brewer
    PF: Kooz,
    C :Boogie, Bryant

Ship Randle, Nance, Clarkson and Zubac to NO.

I don't see how you get Lou will on that team.

Also don't think NO makes that trade. Although I wish they would.

Well, there are a lot of factors that need to be right before this is even an option. NO needs to fall out of contention, and currently they are the 8th seed. I hate to say this but the Clips need to get their act together and take that 8th position pushing NO down to 9th. Then NO needs to believe that Boogie is gona......boogie at the end of the season (come on, i had to do it......don't hate me).

If both of those fall into place, then a deal for 1 year of Boogie is certainly worth Randall/Clarkson. I would even go so far as to say that adding Nance and Zubac is an over pay for a one year rental, but the $ in Randall/Clarkson/Nance need to come off the books so there is enough $ for Bron and Boogie.

They usually get released in the spring. Look for them beginning in April or May.

Aaron Mintz works for fomer Lakers guard D’Angelo Russell, current forward Julius Randle and hoped-for free agency target Paul George, his thoughts on Walton are worth paying attention to.

According to Tania Ganguli of the L.A. Times, Mintz believes Walton is doing a terrific all-around job as head coach of the Lakers:

“I’ve been really impressed with the job Luke’s done. He’s really connected with my guys and created a culture where I feel these guys are being developed really well as young players in the NBA. Any NBA coaching job is difficult and each has its own unique set of challenges. I feel Luke and his staff have been doing an excellent job from what I’ve seen representing Julius and D’Angelo. I think Luke is doing an incredible job and is definitely the right guy for this team.”

Ingram 7 for his last 11 on 3pters, up to 36% now. If he can stay right at 36% for the rest of the year, I'll take it
Tatum VS Ingram should be interesting to watch unfold over the next few years, the little subtle differences in their games and how they continue to develop
