101 games to go. They must hit .270 from now on. Get straights C's. 70% They can do that. A run like last year. The new season starts. SS: Taylor 2B: Turner LF: Kemp CF: Joc RF: Puig 1B: Bellinger C : Grandal 3B: Muncy SP: Kershaw, Buehler, Stripling, Wood, Urias/Ferguson/Santana/Mitchell, etc... As long as the relievers can be sorted out you have a competitive team. Just needs one extra bat as the DH in a newly bionic Corey Seager to make them a WS contender.
I like it, but what is our lineup vs LHP? And interleague play is coming up, so I need to see a DH lineup.
Ok. 2 fast guys up top with some decent pop. Followed by 2 veteran hitters who can drive them in. Then a series of big heavy bats who try to swing for the parking lot. And a Puig at the end. 2B: Villar SS: Taylor LF: Kemp 3B: Turner 1B: Bellinger C : Grandal CF: Joc RF: Puig DH: Muncy, Barnes, Kike, Toles SP: Kershaw, DeGrom, Buehler, Stripling, Ryu Pen: Jansen, Herrera, Maeda, Wood, Alexander, Hill, Goeddel, Urias Poor Muncy. Loses his spot in the lineup to Villar as the team attempts to become faster and more dynamic. Bellinger seems to go into a funk when asked to play CF so Muncy no longer has that opening at 1B if Bellinger is to hit well. Muncy will still play a lot and hit home runs as he gives Turner lots of rest. He is a great understudy for Turner actually.
You are totally going to take Villar to your grave. You do have the positions all wrong though: LF Villar 1B Taylor 3B Kemp RF Turner C Bellinger CF Grandal SS Joc 2B Puig
