I think they should trade Ingram as well over Kuzma because Ingram will get them a bigger fish and Kuzma is a gunner that can easily play next to LeBron.
Lol Yeah, we sort of know what championship teams and talent look like here in the LAL thread..unlike the Dodger threads You eventually came around on Muncy VS Belli here recently..maybe you'll change your mind on Ingram/Kuz?
Tyson Chandler looking like a difference maker thus far..maybe the Chandler era is a thing? Lol Former Cavs' GM Griffin is in constant contact with James Jones in PHX, says Jones believes Chandler has a lot in the tank from having sat out a couple 2nd halves in a row the last couple seasons. Definitely looks like it. Lateral movement looks pretty good, but still need Moe Wagner to get in there at some point to keep Chandler fresh. Zu still looks lost..I'm probably most upset with what's happened to Zu as a spec. Zu has New Orleans written all over him
You posted this December 16th, 2015 in this thread So I can see what you mean about knowing what championship talent looks like lmao
Facts? I do tend to post those at times. Lol That was still good effort though. I was definitely aiming at the Dodgers, but it brought you back after you said said you were done in here, so all good. You shouldn't feel as though you can't post here because you have a difference of opinion. Spoiler alert, nobody's batting 1.000 around here, believe that. Shit, I was practically alone around this time last year in thinking LeBron would even sign with the Lakers..you should take take a trip back in thread time for that doozy. Could also probably dig around and find where I said D'angelo's slow ass was incapable of defending his position and predicted he'd get traded instead of teaming with Zo in the backcourt.
Hawks invading the Chandler era tonight. Trae Young has been pretty solid thus far. A lot of hype, but still less than Zo's hype thanks to Lavar. Gotta stack these wins. These feel like must wins
So the guy who reported that Durant would be joining the Lakers next year, says Anthony Davis will be joining them. I don't even know how this can happen..outside of Durant perhaps taking less money, which he's done repeatedly in recent years. But just the thought of it, my god
Sign Durant to max money and trade for Davis after we sign Durant. Probably takes two of BI/Zo/Kuz plus a couple other players and picks
I believe you're talking about an AD trade at next season's trade deadline if it has to involve other signed players to make the money work. Which would work, but test our patience. The kids aren't making enough money to legally get that done and nobody else is on the books for next year
^I take that back. LAL would indeed have enough salary to dish out for AD in the offseason..they'd just have to unload damn near all of it. Lol Pretty spot on, @BigDaddyKaine That means BI + Zo automatically of course given they make the most money + 3 or 4 of Hart/Kuz/Wagner/Bonga/Svi and then of course draft picks ( maybe) Would have to try and keep Hart and Kuz, maybe Rich Paul can help with that..I forgot about Nance's trade exception above, so it could help here
BI + Zo + Bonga + Svi + Nance's trade exception + future first round picks for AD..in the summer, after signing Durant. That should beat Ainge/Boston out, not that they have to with R.Paul moving and shaking things, but it will if it needs to Lineup for next season AD/Chandler Durant/Wagner LeBron/Kuz Hart/KCP Don't know what they'd do at point guard? Draft a kid ahead of free agency and keep him? Rondo back on the cheap since he has chemistry with AD and can give Curry a run in the post? Javale is probably gone, having earned a payday. Hometown Chandler back with young Wagner in the rotation to help out.
Derrick Rose is the PG to come play with LeBron now that he appears healthy. If the Lakers strike out on all the big names a consolation of Rose and a healthy Cousins might be enough since it means the team keeps all its young players. Both could be had for the price of one supermax since they are reclamation projects. The other solid veterans like Javale and Lance are there to pick up the slack in case Rose or Cousins get hurt. Just lose Rondo and KCP then send all the kids to the bench so they can run free without the older slower players getting in the way. That would be a 10 man deep team with two different rosters that are actually pretty balanced. Even the third roster has balance. PG: Rose, Lonzo, Caruso SG: Lance, Hart, Svi SF: LeBron, Ingram, Bonga PF: Cousins, Kuzma, Wagner C : Chandler, Javale, Zubac
Rondo loves that toss back for 3. That was 6 points right there, Hart was coming for the ball too Lol KCP beat him. This could bode well for a stretch of games, KCP is heating up
