This is where the real issue is as there is still some solid depth on the horizon in MiLB, but it plays out like this:
Will Smith, ETA late 2019, RH Bat
Edwin Rios, MLB Ready, LH Bat
Gavin Lux, ETA Sept Call Up, LH Bat
Matt Beaty, ETA Early 2019, LH Bat
Keibert Ruiz, ETA Sept Call Up, Switch hitter, but more refined from LH side.

Those are the MiLB bats that potentially could be up this year, then you have the guys like Verdugo and Toles that we have already seen and they're LHH's. They are going to need to make some moves, but what it is at this point is beyond me.

Good breakdown as usual. Thoughts on Josh Harrison?

Big no from me and I would wager that the FO is not a fan either. Doesn't get on base the way they like, power has come and gone in his career and has had one very good year (2014), one pretty good year (2017) and the rest were ehhh, no thanks.

As to not write this again, the lineup as currently constructed....
Also, Dodgers 2019 financials with the AAV looks like $182M with expected Arb raises. Currently $24M under the tax.

That's fair but call me old fashioned I like his attitude and his love for the game stats be damned. Reasonable price I think the FO would do it but that's prolly only me. Did I mention he hits right handed lol. Also of note we don't have a ton of guys who are OBP machines so MAYBE the FO doesn't care?

Yeah, but both Taylor and Hernandez are said to be good clubhouse guys too and they're better than Harrison at this point. He, like Gonzalez are a redundancy and the FO has said they want to get away from platooning so much and have more consistency in the nightly lineup. Harrison doesn't offer that unless the plan is for one of Taylor or Hernandez to become the full time 2B.

Somehow "they really suck against LH pitching" pertaining to the.2019 Dodgers is reverberating in my head...again.
Doesn't take a genius ( like say, Dave Robots level) manager to set.up a rotation against us.
Or who to warm up in the pen...

I thought he was an interesting contract swap with Kemp earlier in the offseason. Wonder if this is where they unload Hill potentially. Passan says Jays are expected to absorb a bunch of that contract.

Freeze ever play 2nd? I think Muncy will get a real shot at 2nd which frightens me a bit I'm not going to lie but his bat and OBP was soooo good last year.

If MGT didn't give up too much to get Martin that would be a good addition.

Martin and Barnes basically had the same season last year, only Martin had a bit more power. Both get on a ton, but BA takes a hit.

Dodgers are going for top flight defense and framing at the catcher position and rolling the dice on one of Martin and Barnes putting together a bounceback season on offense.

Hill's contract is probably the only one that would go back. There arn't really any other big contracts that could be given up. Kershaw, Jansen, Turner, and Ryu are the only big contracts left. Baily was let go......this is gona be odd. Maybe we got some prospects back....

    This from MLB Trade Rumors:

The Dodgers have reached an agreement on a trade with the Blue Jays that will bring veteran catcher Russell Martin back to Los Angeles, reports Arash Madani of Sportsnet (via Twitter). Martin will earn $20MM in 2019 — the final season of a five-year, $82MM contract with the Jays. Presumably, Toronto is paying down a hefty portion of that remaining salary as part of the trade.
