???? Are we talking about the same series, the one where the Dodgers put up 35 runs and the Stros put up 34???

I wouldn't mind Pollock but I would only want him in addition to Harper, not instead of. Let Bellinger play 1B and hand 2B to Muncy.

Of course... Mario Mendoza never had anything close to a .338 OBP

It’s not an earth shattering move, but Martin is a solid defensive catcher who can take pitches and get a big hit here and there. He didn’t cost much and we can focus on getting the offense elsewhere. Short of getting Realmuto, we weren’t going to get a huge upgrade at catcher.

Pollock is a pointless addition that cost too much. The ScottKazmir of the OF.

I'm talking about the Game 7 where we scored all of 1 run. and literally over 1/3rd of those runs were in Game 5

They gave up after the 2nd inning, that is why they only scored 1 run. If Wood starts that game the mindset is completely different.

If they gave up when the game was still in reach (and it was), that just makes them losers. They didn't give up.

Yeah, I said it seemed like an overpay, but now it looks like pretty meh return. I guess Brito dropped in the eyes of a lot of scouting folks this year. The Jays are rebuilding and stopped using him last year to have the kids get PT. So the Dodgers got someone for cheap and someone else to pay a chunk of his contract, not sure where the problem is.

Exactly and from the Blue Jays perspective they jettisoned a huge contract which is a goal when it comes to older/unproductive players. Did we settle all the players who are ARB eligible?

Everyone here longer than 6 years knows how bad I’ve wanted Russ since he left. Kinda sucks that he’s bad now but, top 5 all time favorite Dodger. Hope he has a 2018 Kemp year left in him.

Can't wait until we trade for Kershaw from the Texas Rangers in 2027.
