When I saw this on FB I posted something like: "Anyone fucked up enough to be lured in to this guy's house NEEDS to die anyway - Darwin"
and now john wetteland arrested on charges of child sexual abuse for fuck sake its an accusation but that won't matter if he did it they should hang him by the balls
so i was feeling a bit loose the other day and went into costco for some immodium couldn't find it anywhere so after 3 laps around the vitamin/medicine aisles i asked the pharmacist yep he has it back behind the counter and if i hold on he'll get it for me it felt like i was buying something illegal apparently some fiend figured out that if you eat 50 -300 of these things at once it gives you some type of opiate high! wouldn't it be several months before you shit again?
seriously had no idea are tide pods going to need a prescription? i mean i put toothpaste on a cig when incarcerated cause a guy said it would get me off (don't try it) can't see dropping 50+ immodium to get a buzz weird weird shit must have buy in bulk and grab some enemas wouldn't it be cheaper to just go out and find some street oxy?
Toothpaste on a cigarette? Damn... Reminds me mellow yellow...scraping the coating off banana skins and baking it, then smoking it. Yeah, they even made a song about it.
i remember that song by donavon my sister had all those old records i think she might have tried it iirc, did it work for you?
Old hippies told me about the banana peel. You gotta scrape the inside threads and dry them or something. Shit u can get a buzz from all sorts of things in the woods. I grow a fruit that makes u feel like u had a couple beers if you eat a few. The custard apple.
Not really...tried it, and immediately went back to Thai stick. Like Porsches, there is no substitute.
It's neither. The cherimoya is called custard apple. It tastes like custard with hints of green apple. It is in the sapote family of saps. There is a now rare variety of the white sapote tree that was destroyed by the Spanish conquistadors every time they saw it. One idea is that it was because the fruit was poison. The friars who directed it's eradication named it Matasano aka sanity killer. But mata in Spanish also means plant. And sano also means health. So the killer of sanity could also be the plant of health. Competing ideas are that since natives loved this tree the Catholics chopped em down to suppress their culture as that was the modus operandi. Funny enough sano/healthy is where we get words like saint/wholesome. And mata is related to nata in that all matre nature matures onto death. All this confuses historians. So is it a bad plant or a good plant? Depends if you are native or conqueror? Depends if you eat the low hanging quickly fermenting fruit that is all sugar or you use the tree for it's good wood and disease fighting leaves. Modern medicine has shown that the chemicals in the leaves of this tree are being used in cutting edge cancer research. Natives have been using the leaves for years to cure all sorts of diseases. When I was really sick a few years ago I drank a lot of tea from these leaves for months. But I also ate tons of the fruit. BTW it tastes like custard with candy banana. Not real banana flavor but that chemical used to flavor banana flavored sweetarts and taffy. Depending how ripe it is it can also taste somewhat like candied apple or even canned peaches. The taste shifts depending on the stage of maturity but always sweet and juicy and creamy and good. Most have been eradicated in Mexico but alot remain in California as shade trees with massivr foilage. And because they drop a lot of fruit into heavily mulched dirt due to all the leaves this thing drops the fruit quickly fertilizes and sprouts new trees that grow super fast all around it.
pretty sure i've had cherimoya as well never remember catching a buzz either but maybe it never overcame the weed and tequila then again perhaps you need to eat 50-300 of them?
The cherimoya does not give you a buzz. The matasano variety of white sapote which is a cousin of cherimoya the closest comparable fruit you can buy at some of your local supermarkets does give you a buzz. You dont have to eat 30. With 6 or 7 is enough. They are usually not very big. About a kiwi or small apricot.
Fascinating stuff there, Rube. I'll have to try it, although very recently been told because of really high triglycerides, to stay away from fruits. I thought I was.doing the right thing by eating a lot of them. Btw, the one paragraph where you mentioned suppressing the natives, reminded me what occurred in our own country by eliminating the American bison, their food source and so much more. Or trying to.
