Yeah, the killing of the bison is a huge stain on this country that most of us gloss over as not a big deal.
Something I have always loved about how our country started is that when the first generations born in this country of the bison decided they wanted to cleave themselves from their european past they put on their bison skins and turkey feathers and dressed up as natives before they fired up the tea party.

You can eat any fruit you want. You just cant eat a lot of it or every day because it builds up that sugar/alcohol/trig bridge. You can have a handful of matasanos once in a while.
Unless it is some tree whose fruit you are never supposed to eat. Hmmm... there used to be a lot of snakes around before.

Perhaps sharing this is unneccessary, but an old Cockney expression about this very thing, is "shitting through the eye of a needle".
One of many that conjure up a unique mental picture...

But the American bison, down to almost total extinction, has made a spectacular comeback.
The European versions, however, did not fare as well unfortunately.
I saw last night on Nature, that Przewalski's horse, a cousin of our species indigenous to Mongolia, , was down to 20 at one time. Twenty individuals. Fascinating animals with a super strong social drive.
But they are OK now, and back like Russell Martin.
Nice to know a success story can still happen with this sort of thing, instead of the constant, dreary news about the end of another species from earth.

So AF had a plan after all? By bringing back The Bison he was appealing to all the environmentalist baseball fans who still consume large quantities of overpriced hot dogs and beer? Now, he's after the street corner saxophone performers who love to park their cars and use their Mastercards! Damn, and here I was underestimating his smarts all along!?!

Maybe he really is a genius????

Doctors gave my Tita 3 months to live terminal cancer in lungs, liver, abdominal region, and cervical cancer. Not curable
Scans were clear December 3rd or 5th but this is a very aggressive form of cancer. Losing weigh, currently 194lbs. Was 198 lbs when she was checked in 5 days ago.
She decided to go with chemo, in hopes to extend her life up to two months. She can't leave her family. She's right too. Lioness of the pride.

I have her starting to take cbd daily. Will have her 1500 MG and up, sometime this upcoming week.

Need to get her eating so thc is an obvious choice, i will do that tomorrow and offer it too her. Afraid to give her too much though because edibles can turn on you quick. Small doses every 4 hours may be the way to go

If you all have anything you find useful, i would be thankful for the read. All suggestions are welcomed.

She isn't going out without a proper fight

February 5, 2016 when my wife died of lung and liver cancer and it still hurts and it doesn't help that I feel guilty for not saying I love you enough. Guilty for even for a slight moment when I thought of myself instead of her. Do what you are doing in the care you are providing but don't ever forget to encourage and love and even when it seems bleak to have faith. All I have brother good luck to you!!!!!!!!!!

Lost my wife of 43 years in 2011. A lioness too, of superior spirit and core.
The last one I think of when I go to bed, and the first one I think of when I wake up. Still, after 7+ years.
When I dwell on my errors of comission, and the ones of omission, my heart hurts for not doing what I should have and shouldn't have when the time was there in front of me...now I long for those days back in utter futility.
Use the present for the priceless time it offers.
    Fare well and fortify yourself...

    good words bz
i believe we forever haunt ourselves with what we could have done
but i try [emphasis on try] to focus on what i did vs what i didn't
and i honestly believe our loved ones focus on that as well

Yeah agreed.. what was is what was. You get the shared memories.
Cancer sucks, sister in law diagnosed with brain cancer last week. Gut punch.
There are no words, because those are just words. Memories.
Stay strong and try to lead by example for the others in the family
Do what you can. While you can. Mother in law had breast cancer and did 3 rounds of chemo. Lost her hair but it grew back and she got another 5 years of health until it returned. And then it was fast.

Got a buddy who's married to a brilliant chemist now doing CRISPR DNA work and I'm just waiting for some things to change

They make cbd water that tastes exactly like water. Pour it in a glass for her and she won't even notice.
Does she like gummies? greenroadsworld.com sells some good stuff and they offer a 50% military discount
CBD comes in all forms these days, gotta be something momma is willing to try. Hopefully!

Yeah taste, form, dosage all pale to her personal mental images. She's of a generation that was fed the official line of gubberment crap from the outset. Nancy Reagan style and then some.

I have another long time friend of similar leaning who was adamant, neigh zealously hostile, about 'killer weed'
And then his long time squeeze developed some epileptic seizures in her late 40's and the 'official' drugs did nothing. Absolutely nothing. She had to wear a helmet around the house to keep from hurting herself when she spazzed and would fall. Did damage to a gorgeous face on one fall so she wore her helmet. Later a different doc suggested that since all the official drugs worked for shit and built up other bad symptoms why not try CBD? It was like night and day. Her personality returned, her vigor returned, the pain was gone and she never had another seizure ever after that day. The original doc's were told this a month later and from what they shared with me, the docs were not at all surprised.. but not permitted to suggest that solution themselves. #BigPharma.

I believe that the hypocratic oath is to look out for the patient even when the patient doesn't look out for themselves. Of course if she gets adamant upon being told what is available then what is one to do?

    problem is smoking pesticides
if you sell a commodity product you cannot grow it without using some form of legal pesticide
and legal pesticide includes illegal pesticides at quantities deemed legal because there is no evidence that they can cause health issues to the PLANT at those levels
but then people smoke it and inhale those legal quantities of illegal pesticides and get a little bonus free of charge
i guess folks could go with the tide and put up a dispensary selling Monsanto OG, Roundup Gold, DuPont Purple and Bayer Haze.
