O-line is the Chargers' 1 clear weakness though. They can get around it a bunch because of Rivers and all those offensive weapons, well timed screens passes to the RBs, etc. Rams' O-line is better than theirs.

Key matchup for me is Pats' RBs VS Rams' linebackers. Rams' linebackers are meh and Brady will just continue to throw it to his RBs, no problem. Safe throws, marching down the field, moving the chains and then Edelman/Gronk/Hogan out of nowhere

Jared Goff is the biggest reason the public is on the Patriots.

I'm all for the Rams winning this game, but Goff was atrocious in the 2nd half of the season, Gurley is banged up, and NE has so much more experience/dark magic on their side.

The crazy thing about NE's run is that all of their SB wins have been insanely close. The GW FGs vs the St. Louis Rams/Panthers. 3 point win over Philly, the miracle int vs Seattle, and the 28-3 comeback vs ATL. That is what is so annoying about this run. 3 of the 5 SBs wins by NE were insanely lucky. SB 1-Tuck Rule, SB 2-Seattle not giving Lynch the ball, SB 3-Atlanta with the biggest SB choke of all time. The Rams will more than likely have plenty of chances to win this game based on NE's track record.

Probably. The problem with playing the Pats is they're totally comfortable on 3rd and 3, 3rd and 4.
Can't say the same for the Rams/Goff, especially with Belicheat on the opposite sideline

    Big NFL news today.
Kyler Murray leaves the shitty A's and baseball behind for the NFL/QB, pretty much expected
And Kareem Hunt signs with the doo-doo Browns, unexpected
Just a few weeks away from free agency

The best thing about this was literally 3 minutes after this announcement, Nightengale had a story go live saying that the A's still had hope that Murray was going to choose baseball. That guy just can't win.

Heard Kiper say over the weekend that he thinks the Raiders are going to be all over Murray with one of their first rounders. Doesn't think they are gonna keep Carr through the offseason. Be kind of funny if the Oakland football team took the player that just spurned the Oakland baseball team that plays in the same stadium.... for now.

Truly believe that Chucky/Mayock could take him 4th overall and that both will have full support from Mark Davis who would love nothing more than to smack the A's in the back of their heads on his way out of Oakland. Taking Murray out of Oakland and to Vegas to be the star just makes too much sense. Still think the biggest question about him will be his hand size and not his height. But his arm/wrist strength is superb and I imagine his hand strength is next level as well with the way he could whip the bat through the zone on the basefield diamond.

RAIDERS spent more time on the defensive end class at the Senior Bowl than any other position, so I think they could be lookin for DE's with the #27 and #36 picks. Lots of edge rushers in this class, deep defensive draft class this season. I can see Murray @ #4 and one of those 2 dynamic tight ends from Iowa @ #24, Fant or Hockenson. They sent Carr to Vegas to do a bunch of PR, but he's also embarrassed himself a bunch this offseason, battling the media like a noob. I could see Carr heading for the Giants or Bengals..don't even think they'd rule out sending Carr to Denver.

Del Demps just got fired by the Pelicans.

The reason was because they're pissed over the AD non trade and most recently that he left after his shoulder injury and was spotted outside the arena with Rich Paul.

The main reason of course was that they needed to demonstrate their complete ineptness

been meaning to post this for a couple days but kept getting sidetracked...

Rangers’ DeAngelo lands one-punch knockout on Sabres’ Okposo
by Scott Billeck | NBC Sports — 15 February 2019

You don’t often see one-punch knockouts in the NHL, but when you do, my goodness are they devastating.

Tony DeAngelo of the New York Rangers delivered the rare bomb on Buffalo Sabres forward Kyle Okposo during Friday’s game. DeAngelo took exception to an awkward hit by Okposo on Mats Zuccarello.

The two squared up and, well, it didn’t last long:

Okposo was able to get up but he clearly looked dazed and had to leave the game.

The 30-year-old has an ugly history with concussions, including one that wound him up in an intensive care unit. His most recent came in March of last season, his second in less than a year.
