The offense is killing the ball without Seager, Turner or Muncy contributing as much as the others.
You would expect that to have been the heart of the order along with Bellinger.
How good its gonna look when those guys get it going.

Imagine being a Diamondbacks fan and remembering that they once had Max Scherzer, Trevor Bauer, Patrick Corbin, Dansby Swanson, Ender Inciarte, JD Martinez, Mitch Haniger, Didi Gregorious, and Jean Segura

I'm so pissed that Miami probably took an inferior offer for Yelich than what the Dodgers offered.

The bp does look just like what it is...a mixture of very streaky"talent", that may have had their consistency days behind them, if they ever had them at all. Cingrani looks completely like a guy who is not going to contribute much at all, due to whatever reason looms at any given time. What I see from Kelly is a pile of shit, and his contract, I hope, is not another bp albatross around our necks, something that the FO is so adept at.
I don't think Muncy is a complete oppo yet from last season, as his shot in the 8th scored the winning one, let's not forget. He also fits the utility mode so desirable to the management. Didn't even know he played third.
Although Pollock squares the ball up as well as anybody, and damn well hits it hard and clutch, unfortunately, his CF play looks amateurish so far, imo. Just terrible. Might have to just live with it for the O.
And Monday was right, and it's happened before, Buehler lost his mechanics BIG time, completely not following through at all, making his control pretty much non-existent. Like a different pitcher entirely.
I don't know how a guy goes to opposite ends.of the spectrum so quickly, but he certainly does.
All in all, 3/4 is fine, and could very easily been a sweep indeed.
I don't know if the AZ lineup is not as bad as thought, or just because of mediocre to poor turns by our pitching.
Aside from Ryu, and Strip, Maeda, too...most concerning to me is Buehler's Jekyll and Hyde show, and the garbage we saw from Kelly. I don't even pretend to venture an opinion on Baez.
Oh, and the absence of starting pitchers, RP and the murky question marks following their names on the roster.

Jansen's effectiveness has never been based off of velocity, but how his cutter does or doesn't cut. As far as the bullpen, Kelly, Yimi, Baez have been duds, but Ferguson, Floro, and Alexander have been effective, so far.

Lose Yimi once Kersh and Hill come back and see what Baez does since we're moving Urias to the pen. I hope Baez figures it out cuz he was nails in the post.

And maybe take Kelly to the woodshed.

I don't have faith in Alexander at all.
He was the bkitch that came in for Hill in game 4 (if memory serves...I try to block that shit out of my memory) and immediately blew it, as expected
All the opponent has to do is keep their bat on their shoulders and he will melt down

Urias is kind of too good for the pen but we will see. Stripling to the pen should help though

Yeah, but they've already said he's going to the pen so they can limit his work load.
