The sound of the baseball hitting Belli's knee..my goodness. If he was fatter and less athletic he may not have reacted so quickly and it might have missed him

What's going on with Cody then ???? I can't find anything about it at all. Just that he is going to participate in the HR Derby.
Fuck, if I was a millionaire, I'd give him the money not to go.
Any word out there on the left coast on his condition???
    What a shit break.
That scummy fuck Castillo. Just like our own douche now, Kelly.
    Hit that key player, mofo.

It’s honestly hard to watch every Pollock at bat without thinking “imagine if this was Harper or Stanton”

    Imagine.
    It's easy if you try.
    Above us? Only sky.

I like this better than [potentially controversial] the morally bankrupt original.

you know thats absolutely the truth
i loved Lennon and cried when he was murdered
but the truth was he had become a disgusting junkie freak at that point living lavishly in NYC
and all the while telling the rest of us how we should live w nothing
the tone of his last album did sound like he had turned a corner
but Harrison was the true spiritual Beatle

John was a conflicted genius on many levels. As a working class guy, I never really felt he savored the role of cultural saviour...it was laid at his lap. He tried his best to be it, basically said good hippie shit, but couldn't escape the trappings that being one of the most famous men in the world brought him.
I don't know what happens to a young mind and psyche when your father is off sailing the high seas, and your mother gives you up.
I think John tried to be what everyone wanted from him, but when he had enough and dropped out, he might have come back as a person who finally found what he needed.
Then his life was snuffed out.
George was truly most spiritual, but he and the other two never really had to carry John's burdens, imo.
As far as Imagine being morally bankrupt, I can see that possible interpretation.
But, in many ways, that song is as morally rich and full of brotherhood as any song ever was.

i liked John, liked him a lot, just not during that stage
imagine no possessions, i wonder if you can...how elitist is that?
he was the heart and soul of the band and his songs are the strongest imo
