    No Belli, no Turner tonight.

Just what this team needs coming off a five hit performance last night.

Guess we should be grateful Bellinger wasn't hurt worse.

Taylor swings at a 3-1 pitch and hits a dribbler.
    Dude is done.
Bat him 9th and don't allow him to swing.

I have been Steinnerd probably 90 to a 100 times in my life. From the 605, to the 5, the 101, to Pacific Coast Highway, from the parking lot as I'm leaving early. I've been Steinered all over. Some stick in my memory more prominently than others... but they all hurt

When your biggest free-agent signing is the worst outfielder on the team.

    Another three hits for Alex

Don't look now, but Verdugo is third (tied) on the team in RBI's, despite being a part time player.

    Ballgame.

Joc/Righty Platoon, Verdugo, Harper should've been the OF.

    Pollock is a half measure.
The main thing is the prospect.
You bring in the half measure FA to fill a role you would rather have a prospect fill.
But you don't just give a prospect a job on this team.
They need to earn it or have the baseball gods grant it to him.
And the way you do that juju is to sign a half measure veteran.
This is a baseball rule. The unwritten kind.
You plop the veteran in hoping that he does well but at the same time you have a key prospect or two ready to take his spot the moment he gets injured or has a bad first half of the year.
If you sign a fully realized star instead of a half measure you can no longer do this kind of thing.
    You lose the flexibility.

    righties
    LF: Joc
    SS: Seager
    3B: Turner
    CF: Bellinger
    1B: Muncy
    2B: Kike
    RF: Verdugo or Pollock
    C : Barnes

    lefties
    2B: Kike
    SS: Seager
    3B: Turner
    CF: Bellinger
    LF: Pollock
    RF: Verdugo
    1B: Muncy or Freese
    C : Martin

These should be the set lineups so everyone knows their roles.
