Yeah need Corey healthy ASAP. But really just need a 2B to step up between the two of them and Turner to stop being A-Gon and hit more than singles.

Well...we've reached our run allotment in the first.
So it's up to Kershaw to allow no more than one run.
    Or shutout.
    The NEW LAD...

    Barnes
    Taylor

This new mini scoring version of the Dodgers won't fly too long...I hate to think of the Rockies series with this shitpile offense.
What a crash and burn from what we were.

Whelp. Taylor, Barnes and Kike got hits.
You can forget about Merrifield, Rendon, Lux, or Smith.
FUCK. When it was already a blowout, too. Damn

I hope hope hope if Kike gets hot that they just use him sparsely in areas he can succeed (platooning against LHP)

The is the perfect scenario to pitch Joke Elly,

But walking the leadoff batter when you have a nine-run cushion... no bueno.

As crappy a season as Barnes is having, he has hit more HRs than Posey, lol.

That's Kershaw's 23rd career win against the SF Gnats, most vs any team. And over 337 innings, he's posted an ERA of 1.68 and WHIP of 0.85. Pretty much has owned them.

Floro's stuff is explosive. Problem is you never know what Floro will show up night to night.

Joke Kelly is a certified mess and has been for years.

The dreaded lefty with a sky high ERA in Pomeranz. Wave the white flag already.

Probably best, or at least prudent, not to crucify players for slumps and the like. As we all do.
Sooner or later, guys like Kike and Barnes will come through.
    Even Joc...even Kelly.
Although Kelly requires an asterisk after his name...y' know, " only to be used in case of blow outs".
Which, imo renders him basically useless.
Amazing since his movement is nothing short of filthy...but...
Brett Tomko had great movement too.

Kike, yes. He is a proven .800-.900 OPS against LHP over a good career sample size.
Joc, yes. He is a proven beast against RHP over a good career sample size.

All Joc and Kike need is to be put in the right position to succeed and enough reps for everything to even out.

    Kelly? Floro? Barnes?
No way. They are capable of being good, but have not proven over an extended period of time that they can consistently produce predictable bottom lines. That is soooooo dangerous. You cannot roll with guys like that and just hope they happen to be good in October. Especially the relief pitchers. We can live with a below average offensive catcher (if all other positions stay healthy and produce) but cannot live with unpredictable bullpen arms.
