    The Rockies offense has been on a tear for the last week+. Feels like every player on their roster is hitting the ever loving shit out of the ball. Hopefully our starters can bring them down to earth. It would be nice to snuff these guys out over the next week, kill some of their momentum in the division and give ourselves an even wider berth going into July. They have that opportunity with Story out and maybe Arenado as well.

    Twitter reporting x-rays of Arenado's toe negative, but also saying he's day-to-day. Would be nice to avoid his bat in any series.

    If I didn't know where the frustration was coming from, I would think "damn, these people like to complain a lot". But I get it, 6 straight division titles (well on their way to 7), back-to-back WS appearances, 2 other LCS appearances in that time, and nothing to show for it.

    I guess the season is just too long for me to complain about every loss, almost lost and run allowed.

    There's different intensities of fans.
    I guess if you feel the need to declare yours in print, that's fine.
    But others who aren't the same as you are just as fine.

    Yes, it would serve us well if we got a somewhat diluted version of them this weekend...then again, maybe we should make a statement with them at full strength.
    If we can't maybe we don't deserve it all.

Walk in the 8-hole I think gives us an opportunity to try some interesting things. Doogy...we love his game..but right now, with Polly on the mend...I think preparing Alex for pinch-hit opportunities in the 9-spot will be a big advantage..Maxy is fine. He's having an MRI tomorrow."

    Obviously everyone is at different stages of their careers and earning potential, but it amazes me how many players we have who are better than Bryce Harper. I still think the signing could have been justified on a $ /WAR basis, but we may have dodged a bullet. 2015 is not in him anymore.
