    I had to look up the Fernando Rodney game to remember the particulars. It was almost 2 years to this day - 7/6/17. Rodney gave up two hits and four walks to erase a 3-run lead. So Lovullo pulls him and guess who he brings in? Yep, TJ McFarland who promptly gives up a rope to Taylor for the loss. That's too perfect.

    If he does, I like his RH bat at 2B on the until Lux graduates.

    Taylor is officially above average offensively in 2019 after this torrid run.

    His rate stats over the last 2-3 years are pretty much the same so there arent giant red flags or unpredictability. He strikes out, walks, and makes contact at the same rate.

    I think he is what he is after regressing to the mean in 2018. .260-.270/.330/.440/wRC+ 110.
    Not as exciting as his 2017, but it plays.

    Could complicate the Pollock thing even more.

    My main concern with Muncy playing 2B has always been turning 2
    That shit happens in the WS, when facing that Yankee or Houston lineup, and they may as well just put a couple runs on the board in advance

    Taylor now at a .819 OPS, 113 OPS+ meanwhile playing good enough defense at SS and LF. This team becomes absurd if he’s continuously hitting like that and he’s playing everyday, giving Enrique a platoon/bench role. Seager at SS, Taylor at 2B, Muncy at 1B and Verdugo/Joc/Cody OF is very good. Basically, it becomes a competition between Taylor/Verdugo/Joc/Pollock on who is hitting the best at the moment to play. Not a bad situation.
