Not even a big defensive guy when it comes to boxing, but he definitely made defense entertaining

The additions of experienced players and fresh faces -- on top of being a part of HBO's "Hard Knocks" -- could create a lot of storylines to discuss for the silver and black. But former NFL quarterback turned CBS analyst Tony Romo isn't too sure what to make of the team ... at least not yet.

“This is one of those things where they could be really good but you just don’t know until they put the pieces out there and see how it kind of fits together,” said Romo.

“They’re a little tougher to kind of decipher right now.”

Joyner taking on a leadership role on defense, has to be happy to have gotten away from Marcus Peters' dumb ass, even after going to the Super Bowl together. Peters blowing assignments left and right had to be pretty annoying

Feeling might be mutual. As putrid as Peters was a year ago (especially while Talib was out), Joyner wasn't much better. He was much better the previous year.

And no, Peters wasn't the reason for that. Joyner was asked to play more of a CF than inside and he wasn't up to it.

And I'm not defending Peters. Can't wait until he hits the road.

No suspension for Ty Hill....hard to believe.

Good thing he didn't smoke weed, I guess

Doubt the feeling is mutual. Weddle will find out how hard it is to cover the back end with Peters blowing so many coverages, especially since he already has 1 foot into retirement himself. Safety better be all-world with Peters and his BS

The one guy who could've maybe made having Peters worth it replaced Weddle in BMore

KC banished him for what then?

And him telling his girl "you should be terrified too" were clearly words from an innocent man.

Outright threat to somebody he's already beat down..while she was pregnant. And he's right back in camp, obviously, because KC's not gonna cut ties. Kid has issues, football shouldn't even be on the docket. But he's great, so it is. No shame attaching their brand to him at all..the team that dealt with the Belcher tragedy. Let's see if it ends their near 50 year Super Bowl-less run.

Oh and now, here comes the big contract extension for Hill, reportedly. Smh I hope Burfict knocks him the fuck out. Just take the suspension.

Have to also think Mahomes plays a small role. Don't want the new face and golden boy of the league to be without his top weapon. Just fuckery all around.

Would've thought the other way around, that they wouldn't want Hill's shit being attached to Mahomes' star.

One well timed hit coming across the middle. Football can be the judge and jury. Burfict..Joyner..Joseph..Abram. One of these guys has to catch him and drop the hammer for some justice

It’s incredibly shallow to think that. They suspended Zeke a star, Adrian Peterson, another star. They aren’t not suspending Tyreek Hill because of Patrick Mahomes, if they cared about him that much the Pats wouldn’t have won the AFC title game.

If there was anything there, he would’ve been suspended. They did a 3 month investigation. You don’t know the half of it. NFL isn’t taking that kind of PR hit if there was something even remotely there. They know way more than you or I.

Fuck are you talking about? They're already in the process of taking a PR hit for not suspending him.

Look, you can die on this hill. He's a great player for your fave team. Don't think anybody would expect any less

Yeah so like, you really think they are willing to take this hit if they think he actually did whatever it is everyone thinks he did? If he did torture his kid, by all means, fry him like a pig, but there obviously isn’t anything there. They could have hit him with a slap on the wrist 2 or 4 game suspension for conduct detrimental to the league, but they didn’t even do that.
