I'm telling you what I'm watching and they're already being dragged by the media and fans. And the additional PR hit is coming when the news of Hill's lucrative extension gets reported.

Trying to understand the inconsistencies of the NFL is a doozy and a half. But KC already knows Hill is a piece of feces. Banished him before the league even concluded their investigation. You know this too.

Burfict and Hill should probably be sharing a cell.

As small as a stadium can be when seating 65,000. The smaller the better, especially with the ability to close that sliding door and create a domed/loud effect for home field advantage purposes

Just throwing darts out there because I can't figure out that ruling for the life of me. What's the difference between Zeke's case(6 games) and Hill's(0 games)?

All I will say is this. The NFL has an absolutely inconsistent and asinine way of dealing with penalties of any kind because (A) the CBA gives the meathead Goddell sole power to meet out punishment without any established guidelines, (B) the owners run this league with Goddell as a stooge, and (C) ultimately all that matters to the teams, the league, and the fans are the best athletes on the field. They can be mass murderers, and it doesn't matter....of course unless you kneel in protest.

Foster, Hardy, Peterson...I mean there is a talent vs punishment ratio right?

Doesn't make it right. It doesnt make the need to change NFL management a less important.

Pretty much. To add..these lawsuits from former players over player safety and post-career health assistance also seem to ruffle the league's feathers a bit, but that said, the league has powered through that too. The shield is pretty tough. The league is almost at a point where all news is good news because they've been able to power through it all and continue to thrive as the most successful league. A decision like this is controversial and the leading topic..just another way of staying on the brain and in the forefront.

The league is like the blob..no matter what you throw at it, it grows. You had a bunch of people thinking that 20-30 years down the line, that the league would be no more because of player safety. But then what? RAIDERS get a brand new stadium in Las Vegas, Rams get a brand new stadium in Inglewood, and the league moves to incorporate gambling/hops into bed with Caesar's palace and Vegas full blast. There's no stopping them.

They told him to stay away like anyone else would. Standard protocol. He may or may not be guilty but all I’m saying is I haven’t seen anything that has come close to proving he is guilty, and apparently neither has law enforcement or the NFL, so it seems reasonable to conclude based on that, he might be innocent. also to clear up certain things, the investigation revolves around bruises found on his kid, not the broken arm, that was already deemed an accident very early on. His bitch was setting him up on the recording

Standard protocol? Guess I have to remind you that Hill was under investigation by the authorities, which was before the league decided to step in and launch their own investigation..and he wasn't banished by KC while the authorities were doing their investigation into the matter. He wasn't banished by KC until the audio leaked and spooked the league into action, when the authorities were done with their initial investigation.

Does KC even banish Hill at all if the audio doesn't leak? No. Probably not. The audio leaked and it made everybody dance. He very clearly threatened her on the audio..someone that he'd already beaten while pregnant. Standard protocol? There is no standard protocol with the NFL..thats the consistent complaint from fans. In the past, we've seen both the league office and teams banish players before authorities conclude investigations. They finesse this stuff however they see fit

I drove by a couple months ago. It's very compact in the sense of how many acres it occupies, but looks like its pretty tall. The picture sort of confirms that impression with how vertically arranged the seating is..
I guess from a player perspective it's going to feel like the fans are hanging over you.

Can't imagine what a nightmare game day traffic will be. Work day traffic in that area is bad enough.

There was no reason to banish him because it was the off-season and OTA’s and shit hadn’t started yet. Also the league didn’t do anything when the audio leaked, because once again, off-season. There was time to sort everything out, and they did. A lot of the others happened during the season

Hill was banished pretty much immediately after the audio was leaked, which was almost a month before OTAs were even slated to begin. They just wanted to cut ties with him after the audio dropped, even drafted another receiver fairly high in the draft on that very day

They didn’t “want” to do that or they would have. It doesn’t make business sense to do that when you know he will just get picked up by someone else ala Kareem Hunt. They drafted the WR as insurance just in case and also because Sammy Watkins might not be a Chief beyond 2019-2020. Like once again, it was the off-season, like why not let it play out and see what comes of the investigations? All they did was tell him he couldn’t be around the rest of the team, like anyone else would

No..no one can pick Hill up while he's suspended by the team. We're talking team suspension right now..not releasing him. Look, there's no legit way to defend KC or the NFL in this matter. " Timing " doesn't work either. If KC just wanted to make sure Hill wouldn't show for OTAs..wait and banish him in mid-May, before OTAs begin. But no..they banished him immediately following the audio release, almost a month before Hill was set to return to the team. And they did it because this is the team that dealt with not only Hunt, but worse..Jovan Belcher.

It was literally all for PR purposes, that’s it. No reason to cut him before gathering all information. It only looks bad in the eyes of the ignorant who insist on criminalizing and not let due process play out.

It looks bad because Hill is on tape threatening a female that he's already beaten. The fans that can't grasp that look bad..or ignorant.

And of course, we now find out that Hill's GF wouldn't come forward and cooperate any further. So it's the same old domestic violence story where the victim ends up protecting the guy for whatever reason..probably the fact that he has a lucrative extension coming up. But the audio was still enough to drop some sort of suspension on him..I'm seeing all sorts of Chef fans who thought he'd get at least a 2 game suspension for the threat alone

She's the one who tried to extort/set him up in the first place. She's way fucked in the head. They aren't together anymore. She don't got anything to lose anymore but she still isn't talking. Tyreek fully cooperated with the NFL's investigation and obviously gave them good enough an explanation for the context of that or they would've suspended him.

Of course she's fucked in the head. He beat her when she was pregnant and she stayed with him. Some would argue she was trapped, but fucked in the head works well enough.

I'd bet Hill gave the same explanation to KC before they ultimately banished him long before he had to report. Shit didn't matter. Audio leaked and that was that. Even they expected harsher penalties
