Most importantly, a solid chance Vegas will be a better football venue than Levi where it really matters, in terms of home field advantage given the seating structure and the option of closing it up to create the loud dome dynamic. Don't expect it to be the Superdome or anything, at least not right away, but the cities of Vegas and New Orleans do share some cultural similarities and like huh? said, Nevada is pretty juiced to have the NFL. Mixed in with fans from Cali, should be a solid home field advantage. The Pac 12 choosing to move their conference title game from Levi to Vegas was pretty much a no brainer as far as the actual game goes and atmosphere. Now, we see if Vegas can pull it's parking together. Most teams in the league should be thinking " dome "..easiest way to build a winner given what it can mean for crowd participation/home field advantage. Of course, can't expect a Green Bay or Chicago to ever go dome given the historical significance of their venues, so they're sort of stuck, but they do still enjoy the advantages of the insane cold. Vegas should be an interesting option for the Super Bowl down the line given what it could mean for the teams that have fans that travel well like the Pats, Steelers and Packers. Sure the NFL will be observing crowd impact during these upcoming Pac-12 title games in Vegas.
