That’s a travesty, like the City of Oakland itself.

Even Oracle is taking off. They took off the Oracle logo from Oracle Arena yesterday.

Gnats now play in Oracle Park.

Forgot that the Warriors fled the East Bay, too.

Why doe people pay full ticket prices for NFL preseason games? I’m asking for real.

I was briefly watching the Texans v Packers game on TV, and I couldn’t handle it. Boring.

    I don’t get it.

Probably the most ridiculous shit the NFL has to offer
But the nightmare is almost over

    The game or the venue?

Glad I watched the recorded version or maybe not.

For the RAIDERS yesterday and moving forward this season, the venue.
For the Rams yesterday, the game.

Last 2 times we've seen the Rams play they've only scored 3 points. Even though it was a preseason game, I'm seeing plenty of Rams' fans that aren't happy about that. So many of these other teams are putting points on the board, regardless of the vanilla preseason game calling. Not a great history for teams that lose the Super Bowl..they usually fold the following season

Those Ram fans need to take a breath.

Rams played two players (MLB and NG) who have a chance to start this year.

It's the first pre-season game. While I actually don't expect the Rams to reach the SB this year, they're not going to suck.

Think they're well within their right to complain. LA's not familiar with a Super Bowl winning Rams team.

Vanilla play calling, starters sitting..plenty of teams around the league are doing both and still putting points on the board.

They probably won't suck. Don't have to in order to fold. Just have to fall short of SB expectations following the loss ala Falcons, Panthers, and Niners.

Rams had a window with Goff being cheap, but that's about to close. And if Gurley's knee is troublesome again, we saw how that changed their tune. Goff wasn't nearly as good without the Gurley play action. Windows close fast in the NFL

Injuries aside, no one should give a fuck about preseason results.

Win/loss results, of course not. But coaches still want to see their depth shine, want to correct things with guys they may have to depend on at different points. The preseason is far from useless, why they tape the games and go over the film with players after. They don't just toss the film in the trash. And depth is about to become increasingly important to the Rams with Goff's payday around the corner..Gurley's knee..Whitworth's eventual retirement. Preseason is a part of team building. It's a rough game out there..you want to see some talent/basic understanding out of the reserves.

After the SB, I was one of the guys telling Rams' fans to relax. Had more confidence in them then, but as the offseason has unfolded and more questions about Gurley's knee pop up..the fact that they drafted a RB relatively high in the draft wasn't a good sign..that's done biggest number on my confidence by far

PFT has confirmed with a source close to the situation that the NFL, the Raiders and Brown’s representatives have been in contact, and that the NFL has approved Brown wearing the helmet model he wants — the Schutt AiR Advantage — if he finds a helmet that fits him and is less than 10 years old.

Schutt stopped making the AiR Advantage in 2011, and Brown’s helmet is more than 10 years old. But there are AiR Advantage helmets out there that are eight or nine years old, and if Brown can find one that fits him properly and is in good condition, the league will let him wear it, the source said.

"While I disagree with the arbitrator's decision, I'm working on getting back to full health and looking forward to rejoining my teammates on the field. I'm excited about this season appreciate all the concerns about my feet"

No retirement, predictably. We'll see how much Hard Knocks decides to milk the story tonight

Washington has told multiple teams this summer it is not trading 7-time Pro Bowl OT Trent Williams, per sources. Williams has held out of camp, but Washington hasn’t flinched. Teams repeatedly have called about Williams, teams have inquired, and so far, teams have been rebuffed

    Jason La Canfora@JasonLaCanfora
Trent Willliams will be traded. Only a matter of time

Some RAIDERS ties over @ WAS with Bruce Allen and Jay Gruden, wonder if they would have 1st dibs if/when WAS eventually folds. Have also obviously seen the Rams and Redskins do business in the past. Trent Williams could swing the balance of power, possibly future 1st ballot LT

Saved the best for last..the Patriots are trying to trade for him. :hide:
