If RH is that messed up, you make May a fifth starter if we are ahead in a series. I think it would be Ryu, CK, Buehler, Urias, and May. Gonsolin and Maeda go to the pen.

Dave Roberts said that he won't be stretched out enough to make a postseason start.

So is he going to be a reliever?

He didn't say that, but we'll probably find out how his warmup routine would impact his ability to just throw an inning, maybe 2, in some September games.

I was really hoping for 80-40 until Kenleyfornicated it! (new DSP vernacular)
Today, It feels like the off day tomorrow will be the only reason we don't see an epic letdown against Miami, like we've seen before.

Hill is a weird guy like Eck. If any old dude is gonna have the mentality to turn into a closer its Dick Mountain.
Jansen might be the guy driving us to the dance but I know Irish will feel a lot safer if we rode out on Dick Mountain.

Almost like the mini-me to this year's proposed Ruiz/Vazquez fuckery. Thank heavens that didn't happen

With Maeda probably the long man in the playoffs, I don't see Hill being much of a factor with his health history.

After his wife's little twitter incident after game 4, Rich can honestly fuck off.
Unless he is healthy and ready to dominate, that is.

    really depends
big if, but if he comes back hot (homo) and healthy/strong then it could change everything
buehler/kersh/ryu/hill with may, gonsolin and maeda in the pen
otherwise gotta figure dick mtn goat isn't even on the ps roster

I don’t think Maeda would be the long man in the playoffs. He’s much more useful as a guy facing righties in short stints, like 2017

“Stretched out as a starter” might not mean much with Hill though cause they might only need him for 3 innings at a time. I’d even have him still start a game 4 if it means he does 3 innings and you have Gonsolin/Urias/May behind him.

Maybe set it up where you essentially make a game 4 a “bullpen” game but the relievers aren’t necessarily your typical 1-2 inning guys. You see if you how much you need May/Urias/Gonsolin/Hill in games 1-3 to then use them in game 4 as appropriate

    love both of these^
we might not be the best team
