He's a one inning pitcher, and always has been.
I guess it doesn't matter, but if Robots ever uses him in a tight situation for 2 innings, he should be summarily disembowled.
    Or garrotted.

Never has a good April. With that said, since Apr 26, so a stretch of 86 games not including tonight, Turner has a .299/.375/.559 with a .305 BAbip. All those numbers went up tonight too. Need him, Seager and Bellinger to be rolling into the playoffs.

Someone said something interesting on twitter the other day about Garcia. It was along the lines of "Could Yimi Garcia be the first player ever to be on the roster from opening day to the finale and NOT be on the postseason roster?"

When he leaves bb he can get a job as a geyser in Yellowstone.
    If it hasn't erupted yet.

    Btw, Kershaw sucks.
Did you see those two hits?
    Inexcusable.

Never seen the name Yimi before.

I'm convinced the Ingles translation is gopher ball.

Maybe...there was something called a Yimir in a 50's monster film, 20 Million Miles to Earth.
Maybe he's named after that ? An alien ?
    Yimi.
Isn't that how Mexicans pronounce Jimmy ?
    Doyers ?

    Random things...

We are really good and the Marlins suck.

Russell Martin is a better pitcher than Yimi Garcia

Caleb Ferguson has more hits than Joc this series in 6 less at bats

Kershaw has allowed 15 HRs.....Verlander has allowed 29.

HRs allowed is overrated. It's when you give them (looking at you, Kenley).

Nine of the top 15 on the all-time list for HRs allowed are Hall of Famers and a couple others are borderline.

I didn't put any context behind the numbers. Just found it interesting/surprising that the gap is so big between a guy on a "resurgence" and a guy that is "washed up".

Considering that Negron/Garlick will presumably be replaced by 2 of Freese/Gyorko/Taylor/Enrique, that’s not a bad lineup against lefties.

Of course, Freese, Gyorko, Kike and Taylor may take a Seagar- like chunk of time to get back to whatever...

Mexicans probably do come from the blood and sweat of Ymir.
Goths from Spain, Vikings from Iceland, Siberians from the Russian Steppe, Gaels from Portugal, Normans from France. That's a lot of Nordiques slapping shots on goal while on holiday here in Ultima Thule.
Probably why folks keep thinking they see Sasquatch in the woods.

A J Pollock is not a good outfielder. Just another on the list of crappy free agent signings by this regime. Trades, they got that on lock. But free agency... Horrible
