Little too late in Dwight's career to learn how to go for the jugular. Don't want him getting confused, so I hope he never even sees Kobe or talks to him. Better yet, hopefully, Shaq shuts the fuck up and leaves Dwight alone too. Nobody from the outside needs to nose their way into whatever the team thoroughly explained to Dwight the other day. No pointers from Kobe, who nobody wanted to play with late in his prime. No pointers from Shaq, who played with 89 different teams late in his career. They're both assholes and went out like suckers.
Dwight is the Fredo of the NBA. Couldn't agree more about Shaq and Kobe. Pisses me off as a Laker to think what could have been despite their success. For me as a fan it was the least enjoyable great run the Lakers have had because of those their pissing contests through the years. My favorite moment of that era didn't even involve them. It was the Horry shot at the end of the Sacto game in the playoffs. Slight edit.....it did involve them. Kobe missed the initial shot and Shaq missed the tip.
In comp with Showtime, no question that Kobe/Shaq weren't on that level. I still enjoyed them, though, for what they were and what they accomplished. As a Dodger fan, I'm not really into complaining about championship teams. I actually found it to be pretty entertaining, knowing that they didn't even have to like one another or be the most cohesive group off the floor in order to dominate the league. It was the ultimate mindfuck for the opposition and opposing fans. They could talk all their shit about Kobe and Shaq not getting along, but at the end of the day they had to kiss Kobe's/Shaq's rings just the same. It was just a different flavor of domination and diversity is OK. I just don't want Kobe or Shaq interfering with Dwight's 2nd run here. For the same reason Carmelo can't find a job..asking a guy that's been playing as long as they have to be something different is sketchy philosophy and it's not worth the gamble. Either you highlight what they've done or can still do well and try to incorporate that into what you do, or just leave them.
Happy to see Kuz is done with FIBA ball. Let him get back to LAL and build some chemistry. Celtics don't have to worry about anything chemistry wise since their whole damn team is on the USA squad

They can get the disabled player exception for Boogie, it's just not worth much because he was playing for the bi-annual. None of this has anything to do with what he would've done on the court though. An arrest warrant being issued in this is bad enough. Instead of the chick just allowing Boogie to have his son at his wedding, we get this vindictive shit. Boogie let his emotions get the best of him..pretty consistent with his on court persona. I imagine he’ll take a no jail time plea deal (it is a 3rd degree misdemeanor) and get a soft suspension from Silver and everyone will forget about it shortly after
