    Hopefully the starters just going through a bad stretch but can regain form after some rest

    the good thing is that Ryu has shown he can go on long breaks and come back just fine, so I wouldn't feel TOO scared if they essentially give him only one more start before the playoffs, if that.

    The bad thing is that he's pitched way more innings than in previous recent years and it might just be catching up to him.

    The other good thing? We have plenty of good candidates to start after Ryu (Hill, Urias, Gonsolin, May with Stripling/Maeda is desperate options). The bad thing: Ryu can't pitch in the bullpen

    Stop pitching Ryu.

    Unless the objective is for him to end up on the IL until the next season, I don't get why we keep pitching a dude that is clearly on E.

    No, I don't think so. Ryu is really hittable now, and there really is no purpose in letting him get scrambled like he has been. Really ineffective and flat out poor pitching.
    Looking at the starters, so much our strengths initially, have done a Jekyl and Hyde 180° these days.
    Very disconcerting.

    Just reading the comments after turning the game off, this is the most depressing 100 win team of all time.
    We just know the doom that awaits us.

    I get it but I honestly think this is the funnest regular season since maybe 2013. Funnest offense we’ve had In forever. 2017 was awesome too but, Idk. I could go crazy from sadness trying to predict the doom of October but just trying to enjoy this regular season or else what’s the point of tuning in every day. But, just me and no ones wrong for seeing anything differently

    Since 2016, there is little hope for a team to win the WS unless they are basically flawless.
    That's what ruins the game for me.
