Gonsolin is the only one that does not look like garbage right now... and Rios is really not getting a chance after mashing. Other than that, yeah looking pretty bad.

I'm glad Gonsolin/Stripling/Ferguson have been good cause it essentially pushes Yimi/Floro way out of the postseason picture

I bet theres like 5-6 teams that the Dodgers offered Rios for a reliever and the team said no cause they wanted one of our top 4 specs or wanted Mitchell white or something. Bet they feel kinda dumb not being able to see what he couldve done as an every day player

i really doubt it to be honest

9 open spots and I'd bet Jansen, Baez, Kelly, Maeda, Stripling, Gonsolin, May, Ferguson, Urias, Kolarek, Hill, and Sadler are probably all in front of Floro

He simply hasn't been good at all this year

Man this is the old debate of having an approach or a plan getting into the box vs. adapt to each pitch. It’s difficult to teach.

I still think watching what’s happening to your teammates, to you and previous AB’s along with studying film to be prepared for each AB is the way to go. Sure on the fly adjustments are key if you see something, but having a plan is paramount!

    Have a fucking plan bkitch!

Damn, the last guy named Edwin on the Dodgers was one of the greatest ever.
Hope this one is even just a little like the other...

so, Edwin Rios has a similar amount of plate appearances as Gavin Lux and is hitting way, way better. His defense is MUCH more limiting but given Muncy's flexibility, I wonder how much thought there is to having Rios on the roster over Lux and starting one of Beaty or Rios against righties

Might be too late to give Rios regular at bats though but it might be nice to have him start at least 2 of the last games to find

I rarely watch games with the volume up. But anytime I do, Joe Davis is either talking about 2017 or something else he's fixated on for the entire game. Like tonight, every time I turn on the volume, he's talking about how hitting a lot of home runs helps you win the world series
