Can’t wait for 34 home run .834 OPS Pete Alonso next year with a normal ball

I don't think you guys are going to get your wish in terms of the playoff rotation. It sounds like the Dodgers want Ryu to pitch on an extra day's rest which lines him up for game 2.

So the choice for game 1 comes down to Kershaw and Buehler.

No matter how many times Clayton has fsiled, I'll take him over Confident Walker and his tinkering mechanics

Joc will still run into the same amount of homers without even knowing about a normal ball.

Walker has been so much better at home so far in his career and the last time we saw him in the playoffs, he stepped up big time and shutdown the Red Sox while CK got destroyed in game 1 and 5.

I call it Kershaw insanity. Some LAD fans just haven't seen him wilt enough yet..need to be beat over the head about a 1,000 times in order for it to click.

I'm for Kersh starting Game 1 on one condition..that Stras is going for the Nats. Totally do not mind sacrificing Kersh to the soul crusher. Buehler/Ryu can make up for it after that..if Kersh hasn't ethered their soul

Btw, Strasburg's actual nickname is " the soul crusher ".
Check his career numbers against LAD and find out one of the reasons why

Rooting hard for the Brewers over the Nats is a no brainer for me.

If we can't beat the Milwaukee, that just means we would have gotten embarrassed later in the playoffs anyways.

part of me agrees but I honestly am more scored of the Brewers bullpen in the NLDS than the Nats starters. Nats have 1 great starting pitcher, 2 good ones struggling, an awful bullpen. Brewers have no good starters, a good bullpen. Same type of offense. Idk, I thjnk in a short series a bullpen can take over

    just me though.

Yeah, agreed. Without Yelich they should be the easier task..should be. But then you remember how they could've sulked and quit after he got hurt, but they charged ahead instead.

I'm not sure..Brewers almost have nothin to lose ala Cards. And the Nats, outside of Stras, are the chokers we know

i hope brewers and cards tie, then play a 29 inning tiebreaker monday
rinse, wash, repeat for the loser vs washington
probably prefer the nats first in a short series -- if we can get past their starters
their pen is arguably the worst of any nl team

i keep reading how appealing the Padres job is. I just don’t see it. Good farm system I guess, and Tatis looks great. But they were awful this year, play in a division with plenty of other good players, and no clue if their owners are going to keep spending. They have a ton of ground to cover with a slim margin of error
