So it's actually a 3rd round pick in return for Conley. Smh He was so bad

HOUSTON -- The Texans have traded for Raiders cornerback Gareon Conley for a third-round pick, a source confirmed to ESPN.

Conley played nearly every snap last week against the Packers, Trayvon Mullen has seen his snaps almost eliminated entirely. He had just one defensive snap in Green Bay and just 14 over the past three weeks. No matter, as of now, he has been tabbed as the starter replacing Conley.

“We’re going to try to get Trayvon ready to go,” said Gruden.

Raiders will be buyers at Oct. 29 trade deadline. Already have called around the league looking for LBs and pass rush help, per sources.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this the other day:

Former #Raiders corner Gareon Conley has been targeted 29 times this season for 21 completions going 389 yards and 5 touchdowns to just the one INT. It's a passer rating against of 139.7.

Getting anything for him feels like a win.

Looking for Mayock to make a move for a pass rusher some time over the next couple days, pass rushers being the easiest to plug in and get immediate dividends.

A lot of Vic Beasley smoke out there and they obviously have shown an affinity for Clemson players, so I'll say Beasley or Carlos Dunlap. Maybe PJ Hall and a couple 3rds for Leonard Williams. LW in the final year of his contract with NYJ

Niners trade for Emmanuel Sanders. Hell of a pick up for them. Falcons fork over Sanu to the Pats. Ditto. But AJ Green remains stuck in Cincy with Mike Brown.

Looks like Darius Slay could be on the trade block, Lions just sent Q.Diggs to Seattle. Slay would be a hell of an addition to the RAIDERS, but so many teams are looking for corners, the price is gonna be steep, steep, steep

Fuck the Pats and Brady, for sure, but did Brady admit that he fumbled back in '02 to set up his next move? Lives in LA in the offseason..of course, Vegas is a hop, skip and a jump away from LA....

“Let’s boil this down to the basic facts once again,” Schefter said. “Let’s look at some simple things: has he put his home for sale? Yes. Has his trainer put his home for sale? Yes. Has he set up his contract to void after this season to become a free agent? Yes. So if he’s selling his home and his trainer is selling his home and he’s voiding his contract? What does that tell you? He’s setting up to move on.”

JJ Watt lost for the season..again. Rodney Hudson potentially out weeks going forward. Brutal game today.

At least the road trip is finally over. Next 4 very winnable..Lions, Chargers, Bengals, Jets. Win'em all and get to 7-4

Raiders had no business losing that game. Karl Joseph is so fucking bad that he doesn't even know how to recover a fumble when the football is right under him. Ship him for a future 7th or a pair of busted sneakers, I don't care.

Need to somehow find a true #1 because Ty Williams is far from one. Two critical drops on the last possession for the Raiders offense.

Amen. And a few too many penalties as well yesterday. That and shitty play from the defensive end group, constantly allowing Watson to break contain and make plays outside of the pocket..Mayowa being selfish trying for sacks and losing contain..Key not wrapping up when he had Watson for what would've been a pivotal sack.

RAIDERS only had the ball 3 times in the 2nd half, so if they want to do more than just be competitive in every game, they're going to have to make several moves to upgrade the defense. They need a quality speed edge rusher, a DB and a linebacker before the trade deadline. Sucks that they play the Lions next. Sure could use Darius Slay..

Here’s another name that bears watching as Tuesday’s trade deadline approaches: Lions’ CB Darius Slay, per league sources. Lions have gotten calls about Slay, though it would take a lot to pry him out of Detroit. But if there’s a CB-needy team out there, Slay will draw interest.

I imagine it's probably not that hard a look to pull off in Green Bay

Trade deadline today. Mayock and Gruden gotta show us somethin.

RAIDERS need a jolt coming out of that road trip..solid enough chance that playing " at home " in lame duck Oakland for a few games won't be enough

Or maybe 8-8 is good enough for them on the way to Vegas?
