According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, both the Dallas Mavericks and Denver Nuggets have the ammunition to make a trade for Iggy. Seeing how both find themselves in the hunt for the playoffs (or in the Nuggets’ case a title), it would make sense to go after a veteran wing defender with heaps of championship experience. Both teams are fairly young and could use all the leadership they can get. Should worry about Dallas, Cuban mad about losing Danny Green to LAL, will probably jump at the opp to deny them. Not that Iggy would report to Dallas. Would Cuban OK moving assets for a guy that won't show?
https://www.silverscreenandroll.com...neup-stats-analysis-frank-vogel-dwight-howard What I was talking about last week. Best team in the league right now has a net negative starting lineup because of Javale. Smh Both Dwight and Kuz are better with LeBron/AD. But they keep winning games, and Javale doesn't play any meaningful minutes, so all good for now. The 15-16 minutes he's getting every night aren't killing the team. He's basically Zubac w/the Clips..start the game and the half, and nothing more
This team looks like it is going to be special. Love that they're taking no regular season games off after last season.
Coby White....easily my favorite player on UNC last season. I expect the Bulls to enjoy him and his terrific hair for many years.
Coaching staff about 110% improved as well. With all the star movement around the league, new groups trying to build chemistry, and the break down of GSW, LAL may have the perfect storm to win it all this season and maybe even next season as well. Historically, seems it's working out the way it usually does so far. Imagine going back to back, and then adding Giannis in the summer of 2021. :dizzy: West is probably already devising a scheme to trade injury prone George and Lou Williams for Giannis in his walk year, gonna try and stop LAL again. Gilgeous-Alexander is killing it in OKC so far this year..20+points in 5 games and shooting 40%+ from 3. For once, Paul George better come through or his ass will be in Milwaukee or worse

Health. The one thing that worries me is can they all stay healthy? I think I would be willing to load manage and lose a few games than get banged up when we need our core the most. I remember when Fisher got injured toward the end of the season, but when he came back, the Lakers only lost 1 game through all the playoff games that year.
Yep. AD's health more than anything. Makes all the sense in the world to have a gang of big men surrounding him to protect his picture of health. Sure would like to add Cousins to that in April. The timing of his injury actually allows for them to have some optimism is getting him back for the playoffs. It'll be 6 months out from the injury right at the trade deadline in February and so they should have a better idea at the point. Maybe a May return
After the Lakers beat Popovich’s San Antonio Spurs on Sunday, he told Kyle Goon of the OC Register that he enjoyed coaching Kuzma and even compared him to an NBA legend known for providing a scoring punch off of the bench: “I didn’t know him at all and in all honesty watching him play now and then during the season I didn’t see a lot of rhyme and reason to what he was doing,” Popovich said. “He looked like a young Manu (Ginobili), he was running around, energetic and willing and working hard, but he had no idea what was going to happen.” Like USA Basketball managing director Jerry Colangelo, Popovich thought Kuzma would have been a big help to Team USA, who finished seventh place at the FIBA Basketball World Cup in China: “I can tell you when he got hurt, it was a huge blow for our team, because we were all excited about him,” he said. “He had come a long way in just that short period of time that we had, in every facet of the game. Especially the mental part. He really caught on to the things we were talking to him about and I became a big fan. He was great.”
6-1 LAL VS 6-2 Miami tonight Denver blew the doors off Miami a few days ago, so I expect them to get locked up. Riles will reportedly be in attendance @ Staples
