#Raiders come to Jersey Sunday, right after Sam Darnold threw for a career-high 4 TDs. Don't sleep on him. Jamison Crowder, who I've been touting as a #fantasyfootball pickup, is having a good year. #Jets have the No. 1 run defense.

Could be in for another clash similar to the Mack/London game. Quinnen Williams and Jamal Adams VS Josh Jacobs and the RAIDER O-line. Need better execution this weekend. Reasonably, they left at least 10 points on the board VS Cincy

One of those orgs is a couple months shy of the 50 year anniversary of having been to a super bowl. And the other is a couple months shy of it being 37 years since they won one. Don’t act like that super bowl y’all blown out in 16 years ago mattered. 2016 was the year Carr broke his leg and you lost in the first round right? The 1 time you made the playoff since 2002-2003. Like you all haven’t won a playoff game since literally 2002.

If KC had gone to the Super Bowl 16 years ago it'd be party time for weeks - if not months, forget the result of the game. RAIDERS traded their HC and still made it to the Super Bowl that year..and was famously screwed in New England before that year, stopping them from reaching another Super Bowl. And it took a fluke Bo Jackson injury to kill their decade after decade Super Bowl appearance run in the 90's.

But no, this is not about the RAIDERS. This is about you all into your feelings over a glorified offensive coordinator that you know sucks as a HC. Strong QB guy, good play designer, questionable playcaller when it matters most, bad game manager, weak leader of men. Overall, barely above average, but he wins reg-season games..and at the end of the day, will probably be sitting right next to Schottenheimer as the only 2 HCs in NFL history with 200+ wins that are not in the Hall of Fame..because they choke

Yo I’m just doing this for a laugh. You really taking all this shit seriously? I’m not attached to Andy Reid in the least. But you see the thing is, KC was about a coin toss away from the Super Bowl last year. Reid finally hadn’t screwed up, except they didn’t win a coin toss and Dee Ford’s dumb ass did line up offsides and Clete Blakeman did call roughing the passer on Chris Jones when he hit Tom Brady’s arm and also did screw up not one, but two replays.

Talk about laughs..you have such a weird way of seeing shit. " We're 3 fumbles away from 10-1 ".." we're a coin toss away from the Super Bowl ". That's exactly how I know for sure that you're a young KC fan. The older KC fans don't even bother with BS excuses anymore, they know the deal and how it works it out for them.

You know what would've gotten KC to 10-1 this season? Stopping the run and not getting dragged in time of possession. You know what would've helped you get to the Super Bowl last season? Not getting blanked in the 1st half VS the Pats. Super duper offensive juggernaut KC held to zip the 1st 2 quarters of the biggest game they've had since man landed on the moon. Lol Now, that's a laugh. " 1 small step for KC, 1 giant step for BBQ " - Andy Reid

And KC scores like every possession of the second half, and led the Patriots multiple times in the 4th quarter. Those aren’t excuses, that’s just what happened. They lost a coin toss and a gassed defense gave up a TD

Congratulations on your 2nd half championship. Lol

Offensive juggernaut blanked in the 1st half. That's why they lost. Play a complete game, they win.

Dee Ford's lame brain kept KC from a second game with the Rams in the Super Bowl.

With Mahomes running things, it's hard to see KC missing out on SB appearances in the future. The guy is just different and it sucks to share a division with him. I like the direction Oakland is going with the young pieces, but KC owned us in the Alex Smith era and even swept us the year we went 12-4 with Carr/Mack playing at an MVP level. You won't hear much smack talk coming from me in regards to KC until we can prove we can beat them.

In just year 1 of Mahomes, they were a Dee Ford fuck up away from making the SB and most likely beating the Rams who were down Kupp and had Gurley out there looking like he was 70.

Kupp didn't play in the Monday night game vs. KC. But you're right, no Kupp and a hobbled Gurley would have been a huge edge for KC.

The AFC is up for grabs it would seem, but the Rams have helped build a beast in Baltimore by sending Peters to a team with Earl Thomas on it, so the AFC is also currently being moved in on by the org that usually steps up and gets it done when the Pats don't. And certainly John Harbaugh has proven to be a really good HC, so while KC/RAIDERS has been the focus here, it's really Baltimore that he should be worried about right now. As good as Mahomes is, the blueprint is out. If he's on the sidelines, he has no impact and no team is better suited to do that than Baltimore - and they're young, so this is a long term outlook.

And with that said, KC is also doing Mahomes a disservice by not giving him a strong running game of his own. Even the injury was unnecessary given that they had multiple chances to pick up that 1st down on the ground, and didn't even really need it to actually beat Denver (ahem..Andy Reid). Only thing that's guaranteed is that if your QB drops back 40-45 times a game, he's gonna be hit more often and in more compromising positions. But as far as KC/RAIDERS go, again, with Reid's record coming off a BYE week they should be marked down for 8-4 going into that game.

However, macro view, RAIDERS are 1 more solid offseason away from staring KC in the eye at worst. Rewatching some of these RAIDER games has made me reverse field - RAIDERS need Henry Ruggs III in this upcoming draft. The opposition is stacking the box like crazy and Ruggs III would fix that, make defenses fight Jacobs with 6 and 7 in the box instead of 8 or 9 guys. Ruggs III and one more pass rusher - probably Curtis Weaver..Mayock was @ Boise watching Weaver a couple weeks ago. Gruden said yesterday - 5 picks in the Top 100 - to expect another draft assault this offseason. And with nearly $70M in cap space - state income tax free Vegas money - we should be fine matching up with KC beyond this season. Big picture, I'm more concerned with Baltimore and where they're heading..hopefully, they lose Peters this offseason.

So about that lack of penalty for Rudolph for his part in the foolishness from that game, think the racist label is enough? Rudolph would probably rather be suspended.

    Adam Schefter@AdamSchefter
In an appeal with the NFL, Browns’ DE Myles Garrett alleged that MasonRudolph called him a racial slur prior to last week's brawl on Thursday Night Football, sources told ESPN's Josina Anderson and me, an accusation the Steelers’ QB strongly denies.

They had a good running back, but he pushed some racist bitch twice and softly kicked her and then *lied* about it and that was it, Chiefs actually smacked Baltimore earlier this year so that may not be the team best suited to beat KC, but rather Indy is because of their dominant offensive line

That they did, but it doesn't mean Reid was going to commit to handing the ball to him and the other backs as much as he should. Another one of the criticisms that has followed Reid, his lack of commitment to the run game. Even with Kareem Hunt, KC was in the bottom 10 of the league in attempts when he burst onto the scene.

As for KC's matchup with Baltimore earlier in the season, 33-28 in favor of the KC can easily swing the opposite direction. And certainly, you never assume that because you won the 1st matchup that it's gonna be the same the next time. For one, Baltimore's defense has transformed since then. Remember when the Texans went to Arrowhead and manhandled KC? Baltimore just destroyed the Texans. They've also put it on MVP front-runner Russell Wilson

It's a long article, but my goodness, how things are really screwed for the NFL in LA.

    https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28117460/inside-rams-chargers-marriage-nfl-fights-los-angeles

    Highlights:

Of the 3 teams vying for LA, they rejected the most viable, the Raiders because of bad feelings about Al.

The NFL and Jerry Jones in particular screwed over Spanos royally, forcing him to team up with the Rams after essentially telling Spanos that we have your back.

Jerry Jones was going to profit anyways because his company, Legends, would have the contracts for concessions for both proposed stadiums.

Kronke and Spanos basically can't stand each other after the backstabbing, which is causing a massive spike in the stadium costs. Apparently, they can't agree to things as small as which golf carts to use in the stadium.

The cost of the stadium started around $1 billion and has now skyrocketed to $5 billion.

Meanwhile, the NFL give the Raiders the ok to move to Las Vegas....which in one fell swoop, pisses off Oakland fans, royally pisses off the Chargers, and also pisses off Kronke.....because with LV only a few hours away, they are going to siphon off LA fans to LV on the weekends which lessens the chance of good attendance for the SoFi stadium, as well as season ticket sales. Ironically, this could hurt Davis as well. If the bulk of current Raiders fans are in LA, the typical weekend visitor to LV for a game is most likely not going to buy season tickets for LV.

And in the background, St. Louis and other parties have launched a lawsuit against the NFL for essentially committing fraud for making St. Louis go through hoops and spending money for studies and plans to build Kronke a new stadium for the Rams, even though the NFL had already decided on a move for the Rams to LA. The NFL has lost ALL their motions in court prior to trial, which is a very had sign, which means the NFL may have to settle on St. Louis' terms. This could cost $1 billion.

This is a royal cluster, but the NFL and Jerry Jones deserves failure. They got too cute and greedy. At one point, the NFL has to learn its lesson.

The NFL in LA is fine.

The Raiders are a rogue, transient organization and fanbase. Vegas is a perfect fit. People romanticize the Raider's stay in LA. It was 13 years and most games they had to tarp off half of the Coliseum to avoid blackouts. They are a shitshow in many ways. The fact that they teamed up with Dean Spanos to build a generic stadium on a toxic waste dump in Carson should clue folks in on why the league wanted them as far away from LA as possible (while still being accessible to their large California base).

The Rams have been adequately supported in LA for over 50 years and have done well even after a 20 year absence (30 if you count the city proper). They are a more palatable brand for the market to consume than the Raiders are.

Yes, there are more Raider fans in Southern California than Rams fans today (could say that for a lot of teams considering how much LA and football has changed over two decades). The Rams started paying games in Anaheim in 1980 and the Raiders came in during the height of NWA and won a Superbowl. They only moved a 50 minute flight away and the fanbase stuck. The Rams move was more personal and most people told the team to fuck off. Regardless, the NFL isn't worried about today. They are focused on 10 years from now. 20 years. A generation will grow up with the Rams and that will be that. The Rams have the roots, present viability, ownership, Stadium, and long term vision the NFL needs to truly succeed here.

The Chargers are useless. They moved to SD because they couldn't compete with the Rams and now they came back for more. Their PSL sales are abysmal while the Rams have thrived in that department.
