Nice trade, now the rotation is Behuler/Kershaw/May/Price/Urias and the OF is Bellinger/Betts/Peters with Pollock and Beaty. Anyone know if Toles will be back this year?

Luis Rengifo is an interesting guy. I never sell these underappreciated guys that the Dodgers acquire short. He's only 22.

Also, David Price pitching in the NL at that cost per year sounds like a good deal.

Harold Reynolds pointing out that this is big because it's two black players.

I know Honey is not the Pitching coach but he is still in the Org, so I won't be surprised to see him working with Price to help him "work out some kinks" to be more effective. I also think Mark Price will be a great Pitching coach this year.

That is an amazing trade given that May/Lux/Ruiz/Gray/Downs were not included

Probably just coincidence, but the fact they are both black on the milky Dodgers, does make a difference. A good difference.

So Maeda to Twins and Joc to Angels were just salary dumps? Did the Twins give up anything?

I think we did well here. After thinking about it. Joc is a free agent after this season so makes sense. Joc is going to mash 40 homers this season for sure with more opportunities as a DH when not playing in the field. It will help his payday next offseason. Champ will be happy. His bro plays with his hero.

maeda to twins was so twins would send a prospect to Red Sox. So, it was basically maeda and Verdugo for Betts and Price

and then, Joc for that infielder is separate

Twins gave up Brusdar Graterol, who was sent to Boston. Technically a 3-way deal: BOS, LA, MIN

The Angels deal was separate, and probably more of the salary dump.

I do like the idea of having Taylor, Enrique, Pollock, and DJ peters fighting for the LF spot. Not to mention, Finding a corner outfielder who is bat first shouldn’t be toooo difficult to find in July
