this saturday i have to dig out a sewer line, pressure wash the school w the health dept. coming next week for a license change didn't know you had guns or would have come strapped last time
No I said I don't have guns lol. I have an airsoft pistol somewhere and an old .22, I am definitely not that kind of shooter. Besides, doesn't gotta be this Saturday How bout next. Y'all can help me transplant hundreds of melon plants from the nursing station. And we can make some other gardening experiments.
Next weekend would be better for me, just got notified by the onsite manager that Mom and I need to be gone by July 1st or my cousin will get evicted. So I will need to be focusing on that this weekend. I am down for some yard work. Honestly, I didn't agree to meet up with you because I wanted to shoot a gun or a bow, I really want to pick you brain and enjoy the conversation. You strike me as an interesting character and somebody that I should converse with at least once. If I am doing yard work though you are going to need to have some good weed. I will bring the volcano.
I love you already. Everyone her that. Volcano rips and gardening tips! Next weekend. Unless we tempt fate and the mountain behind me turns out to be a Vesuvius.
People that ask a weatherman if it's cold or hot outside. But not all golfers can see from where the wind is now blowing. And where it's going.
Haven’t Pete, Greg, and Steve all coaches 100’s of black men from all parts of the country? Coaching is a pretty intimate relationship, making me think their thoughts have at least some relevance. Probably more relevant than my opinion at least.
I considered this... BUT... Complaining about a "muslim ban" that wasn't a muslim ban and saying dRumph is a "coward and not a leader" doesn't really have anything to do with knowing black people intimately (homo?) Their opinions are that orange man is bad no matter what. That's as deep as it gets with them. I can't imagine hating someone as much as these people hate one man. And putting myself in a box where I have to boycott, blame everything, and disapprove 100% of that person no matter what. Up until the FISA abuse, I wanted to like Barack for the most part. I didn't like apology his tours, individual mandates and a long list of things. But I didn't hate him and didn't think 100% of him was bad 24/7. I didn't blame him for everything. Pop and Kerr are delusional. No matter how many black guys they know. And they're basketball coaches.
If certain high profile people or organizations don't put out "statements" they're called into question and God help them if those "statements" aren't in lock step with those in positions of moral authority (see Brees, Drew). One must remember there is only position re. what's been happening in our streets the past couple of weeks and don't dare disagree with it. Civil discourse isn't allowed.
Are you saying you find their opinions to be disingenuous and self-serving, or just not worth being put on a pedestal as more important than anyone else’s? Or some combination of factors?
Some are both self serving and in some cases, slightly disingenuous. Some are making statements because it's the thing to do.
I'm not going to argue that it's easier to make statements on the right side of history (see what I did there), but that along with all the other caveats like scrutinizing anything a person says that could be in their own personal interest, it seems like you give yourself carte blanche to hate on anything at anytime ever.
The reason I think Pop and Kerr types are acting in their own self interest is because their statements serve no other purpose.
As it should be. Teachers are special. Essential workers are our Levites. You should be held to the utmost standard. Your job is to mold young people's minds. How sacred is that?
