    HOLY SHIT
Theo Epstein has unexpectedly stepped down from his role as president of baseball ops for the Cubs. Wild... so which long depressed fanbase does he go to now to bring them their first championship in ages? Indians?....

Honestly? Indians. They’re always so close yet so far. End their drought and his legacy grows even more

The Indians have been offering us Lindor for Lux for 2 years now. LOL it's not the Indians holding up that trade offer.

Bellinger had surgery today on his right shoulder, the one he dislocated while trying to mess with Kiké. He is expected to be ready to go by Spring Training.

If he left the Cubs because they’re being cheap he’s not going to the Indians I think

I said it more tongue in cheek since he has killed the two longest droughts in MLB now so I was trying to think of the next one. He has apparently said he is going to take the year off before making a decision. Kind of not the right year to do that when teams like the Angels, Mets and Phillies all looking for new GM's.

Nice to see. Was told a couple weeks back that he'd only be able to strengthen the muscles around the shoulder and that there would be no surgery. This is better. Protecting him from playing 1B is not ideal. Versatility lost, at minimum

Now get in the weight room and do something about the girly man shoulders and the bird chest. Should be checking into spring training @ no less than 210lbs, 215 preferably. It's time. Leave the skinny meth dealer look behind

The Dodgers are close to signing 16-year-old Venezuelan catcher Jesus Galiz, per sources.
Galiz is MLB Pipeline's 7th-ranked international prospect and the top-ranked catcher. The
Yankees had been the favorites to sign him, but Galiz recently changed his mind.

Suspended twice now after signing a mega deal? Doesn't he know you're supposed to stop doing steroids after you sign the big contract?

Am I the only one that finds the lack of concern over Cody's shoulder surgery a little perplexing? I know these guys have the best surgeons, but these procedures don't always go as planned, and they aren't always 100% corrective. A slight unavoidable hitch in his swing post-surgery can make a significant difference in his production. I know, I'm sounding like a worrywart... maybe I'm a little miffed that the injury was the result of carelessness and stupidity. At least they were able to overcome and finish the job - would've sucked if the injury prevented the championship.

Guy doesn't take deterioration lying down. Must have been getting his ducks in a row for 2024

Although, he does play for the Mets..they may decide to re-sign him before that and through the year 3020. Bobby Bo should be off the books by then
