Funny. Not only was Dwight not " playing for free ", he was playing for a championship and legacy. Appreciate the hustle and muscle, but he can go to GSW. Was useless half the time in the playoffs anyway and playing him alongside Draymond would kill a lot of their spacing..no Klay obviously puts a huge dent in their spacing as well. Anyway, more back to backs this season and a compact schedule..wouldn't mind LAL going young with their main center spot for more energy and hunger. Nerlens Noel can move his feet, defend some guards and a lot of wings, and has decent touch 10 feet and in on the offensive end. 75% FT shooter 2 of the last 3 years. Not the heaviest guy, but active feet with quick hands to somewhat bother a guy like Jokic in iso's and at the 3pt line. Truly a defensive minded player with aptitude on that end. Split the MLE between Noel and Keef Morris, and then bring back KCP with Bird rights. Vet min deals for Wes Matthews, Aron Baynes, Iggy and Dudley after that. Pelinka has been after Aron Baynes for a while now. He's a solid enough backup with a lot of experience Then trade Kuz to PHX for Mikal Bridges. PHX has Saric entering restricted FA and they may lose him, so they could use a stretch 4 and Kuz can do that with CP3 orchestrating. Still have a year of team control with Kuz, still some upside and he's friends with Booker. Not the most ideal landing spot for LAL since it's within the division, but I could see PHX being interested in opening up more minutes for Cam Johnson @ SF

Hope they truly look to wheel and deal today. Solid amount of room for error with a LBJ/AD foundation. And given the compact schedule and short amount of rest it'd make sense to look for significant upgrades to take away some of the load Lock in Serge Ibaka with the full MLE over 4 years..would probably be a movable contract down the line if something big comes up. Get out there and try to make the trade for Bogi Bogdanovic..they've had previous interest in him so just go gettem. Bring in Harkless as the long wing defender to replace Kuz. Jeff Green could probably man the Morris role well enough, has a Game 7 win with LBJ under his belt
