Giannis turns down the supermax, Bucks would be welcoming Iggy and his Danny Green/filler salary with a warm embrace at the trade deadline if they're smart. Losing Giannis and getting nothing in return would be a franchise killer for them. Tyler Herro is actually from Milwaukee..they better at least try to nab him from Miami.

Reportedly, Giannis really wanted to play with Bogi Bogdanovic..Euro connection, I guess. League shut that thing down with " tampering "..about to push Giannis to a big market..checkmate Lol

    And a pick!
    Wall is a better asset.

Lavar Ball is the best dad in the world.
All 3 of his kids in the NBA now that LiAngelo signed with the Pistons.

Now the Lakers have to trade for all of them in 2 years for the prophecy to be complete.

    You mean....

    PG: Lonzo, LeBron
    SG: LiAngelo, LeBron
    SF: LaMelo, LeBron
    PF: AD, LeBron
    C : Giannis, LeBron

Guess who wins 6th man of the year every year until he retires.

Wall finally plays with Boogie again, old Kentucky duo

Of course they're both coming off catastrophic Achilles injuries and are half of what they used to be but that's the Rockets for you

Dynasty intact for at least 3 years.

But will LBJ sign another extension in 2 years? Or is he gone one way or the other?

Who takes his place to he AD's #2 since it seems by this signing that the Lakers are admitting Giannis is not a possibility.

The Lakers have 3 other players for that role.
Montreal and Shroeder already are good enough to each be a good third option to AD.
    That's 2 third options.
And I think both players have the potential to become greater than what they have already shown.

Kuzma is now poised to become the 2nd option when LeBron retires.
No need to trade him now with all the talent on the team.
He just needs to step into his game.

..that said, presently there's no need to worry about another star replacing LBJ. Definitely always fun to speculate about Giannis/etc. from an entertainment and greed aspect, and Pelinka's likely been combing the league for opportunities, but that's his job. Gotta be prepared. Ultimately, Lakers already feel like a sure fire dynasty because of the way they stormed through the playoffs never facing elimination with gentleman's sweeps galore. A different feeling when comparing it to the Dodgers who faced 3-1 elimination against the Braves. A dominant display by the Lakers with the chips down and obviously the team looks even better now. Dodgers probably need Giannis

Just have to make good on AD's presence when LBJ leaves, the same way they made good on Kobe's presence after Shaq was gone. Pelinka has the blueprint and he definitely has the mamba mentality in the FO. And then of course, we have the ole ace in the hole - Rich Paul - so we're good. Too many unknowns to worry at this point. As Keith Smith said there..we'll have solid/movable contracts on the books and a dominant/winning situation as promotion. It'll sort itself out. Shit, Horton Tucker and Kuz may eventually improve enough to serve next to AD beyond LBJ's years. Crazier things have happened. Horton Tucker, in particular, has pure ability and measurables that Fred VanVleet can only dream about. He's just a 20 yr old baby, so only time will tell
