if i understand the reasoning its that they would have to let barnes clear waivers since he's out of options and they worry about losing him...
he may be ok behind the dish but his total lack of ability at the plate make him worthless imo
at least Wuss takes walks and Smith gives you a chance for contact
btw the only expression i ever see on his face is rat

Urias has been nothing short of awesome.
    Seager would be 0-4
Watch him finally "get his feel" in 2 months and then instantly get injured.

Can't complain too much though, as I was predicting a sweep.

Am I the only one that thinks Muncy is good defensively? A little scary if you pair him with someone like Joc on the same side of the infield, but as his own entity, he is not a disaster. Pretty competent at 3 positions is valuable.

Not sure I'd say "good" yet, but much improved, especially at second. I think most of us would shudder at a right side of Joc and Max.

Two can play that wall game.

Exhibit A of what joke the game has become was Pollack's HR.

Nice start for Stripling. Made a lot of quality pitches.

Time to take the training wheels off Popeye the Urias.

Nice to pin a L on Sale, aka Mad Bum Lite.

    That was a fun one.

People were pretty chill. Thank god I had decent seats.

Sat next to a few Sox fans and shot the shit with them during most of the game.

Outside of the history, Fenway is a bit eh. Outside is great though. Party atmosphere. Inside it really is kind of a dump. Atop the green monster is pretty fucking cool though.

Lots of loud lets go dodgers chants and MVP chants for Cody.

We all sang happy birthday to Cody after the game.

Glad it was a laugher for us. Was worried that Kelly was gonna blow it. Every time I got up they scored so I sat my ass down for the rest of the game, which annoyed my brother in law.

Sure hope that knuckleballer is OK. Like to see him pitch again today.

The guy that took over for Wright (Marcus Walden) is my best friend's nephew (not blood, his wife's sister's boy). He's a 30 yr old baseball lifer who's playing for his 5th organization. He's endured TJ surgery and a stint in Indy ball. Pitched a few games for Boston a year ago, got a taste of World Series money and a ring.
