Lakers second team gonna be fun to watch. PG: Rondo, Lonzo SG: KCP, Hart SF: Stevenson, Ingram, Svi PF: Lebron, Kuzma C : Javale, Wagner, Zubac LeBron goes in with his veterans who then all go to the bench 6 minutes in and he is joined by Lonzo, Hart, Ingram, and Kuzma before he finally sits down for a bit and Wagner comes in. That is going to be hard for teams to deal with. That is two good lineups. The first lineup can be all about LeBron. Give the fans what they want to see, LeBron going one on one and messing fools up. He has good defense, rim protection, playmaking, veterans with IQ, but only one pretty good shooter in KCP. But this is not LeBron the facilitator as much as LeBron the scorer and playmaker. Then when the young guns come into the game it shifts into more of a fast paced running style offense. LeBron can now play center and come slower up the court in as many plays as he needs to on offense. As the trailer coming in at the tail end of a fast break he would be phenomenal. Lonzo, Ingram, Kuzma, and Hart can go full speed at opposing teams and tear em up. LeBron has 3 guys around him that can shoot, and Lonzo. So if the running breaks down he can post up and find plenty of open 3 point shooters to pass to. Imagine LeBron running alongside the shooting of Kuzma, Ingram, Hart, and Svi. LeBron and 4 good shooters would be tough for a defense to cover. With the grail being something like merging all the 1 year rentals into into one guy and promoting the kids in a year. PG: Lonzo. Hart SG: Ingram, Svi SF: Kawhi, Bonga PF: Kuzma, Wagner C : LeBron, Zubac A tight rotation of Lonzo, Hart, Kawhi, Ingram, Kuzma, LeBron, Wagner would be potent offensively and only big low post rim protectors but Kawhi, Ingram, and LeBron would do a good job of keeping the post clean of bodies. Hart is the best 6th man because he does everything.
The Bobby Knight tactics employed by LaVar's dumbfuck JBA coach was just awesome, eh? Too bad the dude wasn't white so it could end that blabbering dipshit once and for all. Mitch and Jimmy would have been fired again for opting into this shit show! Just sayin'.

11 game win streak snapped, fairly weak way to end the LV SL, getting blown out. Portland is seemingly always a thorn in LAL's ass, one way or another.
Also, Kawhi is heading to the Raptors, deal is being finalized Spurs taking on Derozan's money Lol, desperate as hell Kawhi " has no desire " to play or show up in Toronto, but Toronto is good with getting rid of Derozan's money Personally, I'm good with this..the NBA as a whole set out to collectively stifle LAL back in 2012, so I don't mind LAL sitting back and just picking off other teams' best FA in free agency Opposing teams don't want to help LAL, and LAL shouldn't want to help opposing teams Kawhi does have to show up and take that physical though for the trade to go through, so...
Makes a lot of sense, those teams have a hard time attracting big free agents or getting them to stay long term. SA gets someone that is locked in and is a good fit with what they have. Essentially the Spurs take a small step back instead of having to rebuild from scratch.
That isn't what I mean. I thought Demar was going to be in Toronto for good, totally believed he was going to retire there.
So Toronto is dumping salary now, and don’t care about a 1 year rental AFTER Lebron moves out of the Eastern Conference. Hell, more power to them.
yeah actually that is a different perspective... not that anything good is going to come from the East for awhile
We definitely had all kinds of jokes for Toronto when LeBron left the east, about how they were finally free, but they still weren't going anywhere in the long run. Derozan easier to move compared to Lowry..Ujiri gets out of that money and gives himself a chance for some flexibility and to maybe gain some assets if they flip Kawhi at the deadline. Don't wanna give Ujiri too much cred because he gave Derozan that money to begin with, but at the same time it's not like he really had any choice being in Toronto and what not. But getting back to Derozan..I'm about tired of these LA guys with star status playing right into the stigma that LA guys are soft. He got benched in the playoffs and is pouting about being traded to a better organization. I mean, I realize they told him that they wouldn't be trading him, but he has to get over that shit. He's getting what 27M next year? He's gotta relax here. I mean at least George is a modern type of star wing, but he too goes soft when it matters most. Those two, Harden, Zo, etc..time for some of these LA guys to step up. Kawhi and Russ are the only dawgs representing the city right now, and they're obviously having their trials now as well. Just saying. /end rant The trade got weird for me around the part where Kawhi has to show up and take that physical to make the deal official..which he currently reportedly has no plans on doing, I think? It looks like Toronto can actually waive the physical and just say fuck it, we'll take him without the physical? Everything else I can make sense of. But at the end of the day..if Kawhi doesn't show up to take that physical, where do the Raptors go from there?
