I do not want to see the Mets. That rotation has the chance to dominate a short series(same can be said of the Nats). I know the rest of that team is a mess, but they’ve got the guys who could shove games 1 & 2, then suddenly you’re behind the 8 ball with Stroman and probably short rest Degrom and full rest Syndergaard. Then one hot hitter could beat you, i.e. Daniel Murphy = Pete Alonso.
As for Grandal, naturally he has murdered LHP’ing this year. I still foresee him swinging over the top of every breaking pitch in the dirt, but wouldn’t be shocked if he just went into “fuck you” mode and crushed.

So I was wrong, Turner had an X-Ray today, not an MRI. The results were inconclusive which... that seems not great. He is getting the MRI either tonight or tomorrow and it sounds like he is away from the team right now. Roberts said he could play through the pain, but the circumstances are not calling for that at this time. I wonder if it is anything serious, if we see a shuffling of the deck. Muncy to 3B - Turner 1B or Muncy 2B, Seager 3B, Lux SS and Turner 1B. I honestly HATE Muncy at 3B. His throws are horrendous from over there and he has always looked tentative.

Swinging the bat well and coming along @ 3B this year defensively.
    Defensively, the list goes..1) Chapman, 2) Fletcher, 3) Arenado, 4) A. Cabrera, 5) B. Anderson, 6) Moncada

Kelly back last night, Hill back tonight and Muncy to rejoin the club on Friday in NY. Slowly getting the band back together. Turner is supposed to get an MRI this morning in LA. The team still claims that he would be playing in more extreme circumstances, but for now they prefer to err on the side of caution. Wish we got Verdugo back as his style of play is something we have missed in the playoffs in recent seasons. Not a great sign with the back and oblique issues when he has such a violent swing. Wonder if this will impact him going forward. He has added more loft in recent years, so I'd be interested to see if he stays in LA over the offseason to retool his swing a bit.

Not a good omen when a player that young already has back issues.

How the hell did he get an MCL tear?

I think his career is finished.

I'd agree if it was anyone but Rich Hill.

Rich Hill will be okay. He can take a year off and then become an adjunct Poli Sci professor / pitching coach at Berkeley.

Mostly referring to that shithole of a city.

I'm thinking he couldn't get into Fresno St, hence he chose Cal.
