They didn't sell out a bobble head game with Kershaw pitching against a good opponent? Pretty pathetic. Kinda stinks seeing so many empty seats. I know we lead in attendance but still. No sense having so many seats if you can't fill them. Looks bad on TV.
Kershaw is incredible, just wow. Boys, you could be watching the greatest modern day performance by a pitcher...enjoy.
You have to remember that school just started for a lot of people. Little kids and teenagers can't always attend on a school night with how bad it is to leave the stadium.
I suppose this is supposed to by 2,000th not 200th. http://m.mlb.com/lad/video/topic/8878728/v35905183/?c_id=la
Kershaw is fucking awesome. Let's put some wins together!! Let's get going bkitches!! Magic number: 22
I hope we sweep AZ this weekend and the Giants get swept. Then hopefully we can all stop talking about those douchebags.
Correct me if I am wrong wasn't this the 1st day of school? If you want to see empty seats just wait until tomorrow afternoon! Looking for tickets right now and there were tons of them.
Dodgers are 17 games over .500 for the year. 15 games over .500 in games Kershaw starts. So that makes them 2 games over .500 in games not involving Kershaw. So he’s basically carrying an otherwise .500 baseball team. That alone should win him the MVP.
It's hard to believe that Kershaw is as good as he is...watching him make BB history is a distinct privilege. Watching Orel was much the same for me, but this is over a much longer time...true greatness.
Going straight off of pitcher record, the Dodgers have a .722 winning percentage when Kershaw, Greinke, and Ryu record a decision.
I have tickets for this and like any good baseball dad would...Im pulling my 3rd grader outta school...
@Dodgers: Today's 12:10 p.m. lineup: Gordon 2B Puig RF Gonzalez 1B Ramirez SS Crawford LF Turner 3B Pederson CF Federowicz C Frias P
Wish Joc would get a chance over Crawford Crawfords numbers against righties are still terrible. His OPS is 50 points below Ethier versus righties and wRC+ is 14 points below If you're gonna give Joc a chance, do it over CC CC had a hot streak sure but: it was mostly singles, it didn't fully recover from his shit slump, and a good amount was against lefties, where he's still inferior to SVS But doubt CC's job is challenged
and there it is..arguably our hottest hitter in Kemp sits instead of moving to LF for even ONE DAMN DAY. i know Kemp can probably use a day off..i get it..but give him a day next series gotdamnit. and he'd probably whine if they asked him to take a day in LF. good to see Joc back in CF with Puig in RF..we at least get a look at 2/3rds of what it's probably gonna look like next year.
Yep, Kemp is 6-14 with 2HR's against Zimmerman. It was actually last year against Zimmerman when he had that awesome game then did the dumb-ass slide that killed his ankle.
