Kemp seemed upset that Puig didn't take third on a Gonzo single. Kemp came up and struck out. He then said something to Puog and Puig must have pissex him off with his answer. I'm assuming it was

"doesn't matter if I took third. You struck out anyways."

Asked about the incident, Kemp changed the topic.
"A good game we played today, huh? Good game," Kemp said. "Go Dodgers!"

The media is going to have an orgasm. They live for drama surrounding Puig

Is Matt Kemp the new base running coach? We've come a long ways from 2008.

Kemp needs to drop this right now. He fucked up plenty in the past and no teammate of his publicly called him out. This is an "in-house" issue that should be dealt with and the last thing we need is the fucking POS media jumping on this.

Drop it Kemper, please drop it.

I like Mattingly's response. Make it seem casual, even if it isn't. Let outsiders blow it up and look silly for it, don't go running to the media to make things worse

Surely you don't expect Koufax to be reticent, ...do you? I know him far too well.

And yes, ...I called you 'Shirley'.

Didn't Kemp get thrown out for celebrating after he thought he hit a HR in Colorado a month or two ago? It is kind of hypocritical lol

And didn't Kemp actually get the worst (or maybe second worst) injury of his career from slug dogging it coming home and then have to hustle like a dodo and turn his ankle to the max?
I'm no Puig defender, but WTF is Matt doing there in front of everybody?
Unless of course, the rampant ego and stupidity shown by Puig from day one has worn thin. The guy is a fucking problem at times, acts like a lunatic often, but Kemp didn't handle that well at all, IMO. That's only cool if you're Kent and you're going at Bonds...then it's aces high.
Doesn't mean shit if the guy is the best player lately or not...and that would be Adrian Gonzalez anyway.
Donnie looks high to me. Sounds like it too, man. He's back with his wife maybe...y'know, for comfort.

Kemp shouldn't be talking about doggin it. Didn't he dog it on the way home in DC last year and almost detached his foot from his leg at the ankle? Carry on boys let's win baseball games....

Sometimes speaking from experience to teach the younger guys is a good thing....whether he did it before or not doesn't make it wrong to speak up when a problem was spotted.

As I type this, Puig makes another high throw and misses the cutoff and allows a runner to reach scoring position. Can anyone say anything to him about that repeated fuck up? And now the runner scores...so Puig's repeated stupidity has cost us another run.

I think Kershaw, Gonzales, Puig and Grainkey might have something to say about who the best player on team is.

Good advice... Getting in someones face about something stupid and compounding it by acting like a complete ass hole for the world to see is never a good thing.

Amazing there are people who because they think Kemp is the best hitter whenever, it's OK to act like a douchebag.
Guess what-it's irrelevant how good a hitter he is now. If you act like a douche, it's douchebaggery; done deal.
Seems like the "incident" is already a dead horse now, anyway.
And Puig looks like he's heading back to his slump, or a form of it, so the more things change, the more they stay the same.
