    i wasn't saying send all of them. however, if Miami says " the only way you're getting Stanton is if you give up both Puig and Joc Pederson "..guess what's happening? the Dodgers will be out on the free agent market looking at Denard Span or Colby Rasmus to come in and play CF because both Puig and Pederson's asses will be gone and we'll have our MVP caliber everyday player in Stanton.

    waiting for Stanton to turn free agent isn't gonna get it done..he's gonna get paid long before then and the Cubs have the money and the young talent to get it done.

    quite frankly I wouldn't trade Puig AND Pederson for Stanton... nope

    Stanton is a free agent coming up soonish and he's going to get paid hugely... Puig and Pederson are both under great team control for a while.

    Puig has one of the best contracts in baseball and could be argued he's a better player... not to mention Pederson at 500K

    I wouldn't do that trade

    what does that mean? Pederson, when it's set and done, could be a 500K player. nobody knows if he'll be any good yet. you're being ridiculous. the Dodgers offered a 4th starter 120M last winter. they're not penny pinching.

    Lol @ having Stanton for the next 4 years being a " sheesh ". did you mean for the opposition?

    and if this is the Kemp they're getting for the next 3-4 yrs..cool. aside from that, i think we're all assuming that Crawford and Ethier are being moved at some point. so if they're forced to give up Puig and Pederson for Stanton, it's probably a safe assumption that they'll be looking at Span or Rasmus on the free agent market.

    i just hope Carlo is the same guy after this " baseball to the face " incident. that was rough..looked like he had a hole in his cheek. he seems to be in good spirits and kinda jokin about it all though, so maybe he'll be OK.
