Is Ned still employed with the Dodgers????? Does anyone on here think that if Guggenheim, Kasten, Johnson et al thought that Ned was doing a bad job that they would have kept him on? None of those entities would put up with poor performances, again speaks volumes. Before you all get crazy yes he's no longer the GM but he's the right hand man and confidant of the guy who can do no wrong in this boards eyes, Stan Kasten. Or if the other teflon man Logan White was a better choice of GM of this team that he'd have replaced Ned long ago?

    Oswald was abducted by aliens.
Acting alone will land you on the moon.
All the world's a book depository.
    Sabean means wiseman.

And fwiw it is against federal law to contact or interact in any way with aliens or UFO since 1969.

Good look beyond at the situation that purely reeks of the salivation over the Friedman move initially. There may be a lot more to this than meets the ditty bop, giddy poster's eye, and you ask a very good question: why is he still here-in any capacity at all? Or Mattingly, for that matter?
A failing duo if there ever was...proven, multiple times (to most long-suffering Dodger fans, anyway), and yet both survive like cockroaches through the passage of time.
    Food for thought...good post.

Ishtar the Mesopotamian Goddess of war and sex? Or the Dustin Hoffman/Warren Beatty film considered one of the worst ever?

    lol :giggle:
    • Friedman's news conference was attended by Dodgers first baseman Adrian Gonzalez, who jokingly asked him if he planned to acquire a "younger, faster, stronger" first baseman. Friedman didn't answer the question.

I just watched that part of the press conference. After the question Stan Kasten laughed and made sure to add "AND cheaper". Good stuff.
